Taken at Hmeymim airbase, the following interesting video shows Russian combat planes involved in the air war over Syria taking off and landing from the airfield located near Latakia, in northwestern Syria.

Noteworthy, in the last few seconds of the clip you can also see the four Su-35S fighters that joined the Russian air war in Syria last week.

These aircraft, that were delivered to the Russian Air Force in the last quarter of 2015, wear serial numbers 02517, 02518, 02619 and 02620.

I see two Su-25 with camo skin on the photo. Does Kolya sent more Frogfoots in the area? The first ones always had the ugly dark grey camo. Or does the camoflaged the planes in Syria?

Those Frogfoots are Russian, they have the stars on the tail. The original 50 aircraft contingent was beefed up to over 69 by the end of the year, since that they still received newer ones joining the fight (or system evaluations/verification).

edit.

Although the Syrian forces got around 50 T-90 tanks and those are used by the previous T-72 crews.
