F-15C skins for F-15 B/D

I notice in a pack that a F-15C-85 has a lot of skins then the rest of the Eagles in the pack. I was wondering if you can use the skins of the F-15C-85 and use them on the B and D models.

Should work just to copo tge skin and drop it in the two seater folder. Minor position editing may be needed, but then again may not

Tried that I put the skins in the aircraft folder and then the decals in the decal folder of the F-15D but comes out as a black eagle

Check the formats. You may gave to convert from jpeg to bmp or vise versa

hmm...got it to work right off the bat.

simple copy/paste of the skin folder, in this case the 57th FIS in Iceland, from the F-15C_85, to the F-15D_85. Didn't even mess with the decals; one dosen't need to move the decal folder, as the pathway written in the decals ini will ALWAYS 'look' for it's original folder...they don't even need repositioning.

 

don't know what to say; couldn't be easier.

 

 

bmp or jpg make no difference to SF2, as it's the game engine and not the LOD that chooses what to use, based on what's available.
