fallenphoenix1986 603 Posted March 17, 2016 Since Argentina occasionally operates at sea with the Brazilians I dare say there will probably be some Sea life left for the type... still served the French well for a bloody long time. Craig
SUICIDAL 401 Posted March 17, 2016 (edited) French Sem are with their structures out, ready for retirement They have more than 8,000 landings. Argentines have hardly 1500 or less What the Argentina Navy is looking for, equipment, electronics. Saludos Marcos Edited March 17, 2016 by SUICIDAL

Eole 1,032 Posted March 19, 2016 Fair point, so that was the last ever bridle launch as well then? Craig Yes you're right , the total retirement of the SEM will be planned for 2017 , the 17F Flotilla following the 12 & 14F, is now making is operational conversion to the Rafale M (standard F3)

Whether the Argentine birds go to sea again or not Brazil's A-4's and S-2's will still be using bridles for a while.
