Wilches Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Guys, I´m not sure if it´s ever discussed here, but is there any way to create na operable V-1 inside SFP2? A ground missille, AI operated, that flies in a straight course and falls down when the fuel runs dry. Quote
+Gepard Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Should be possible. It was the first cruise missile. So it should be made as weapon in the way like a very slow cruise missle. Plane launched fro a He-111 should not be the big problem. The other thing is a ground launched V1. Silkworm coastal defence anti-ship missiles were made in past, but they had ships as targets. Dont know, wheter the KI would fire a missile on a non moveable taget? Quote
Wilches Posted June 5, 2016 Author Posted June 5, 2016 Thanks Gepard. It should be great to have the EAW old fashion V-1 scramble missions. They were my favs. Quote
Wrench Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 yes, it has been discussed -- several years ago in the WW2 forums. It'd be the same as the working SCUDs & other surface-to-surface missiles we have. The data ini would (could? should?) have to be built using NA-style coding (maybe?), like the pre-existing cruise missiles, which are targetable (with missiles -- in theory, you should be able to intercept with a fast enough aircraft, select the target, and guns-only shoot it).
