Something not right with my SF2 series install...- help needed.

I have SF2, SFV, SFE, WOI and SFNA as well as the SF2 exp pk 1 and 2.

I have installed all the SF2 series in my D drive.

 

My D drive looks like this

 

D: -> 3rdwire -

.........Various Files (Core, Flight, Menu, Utilities..,etc. etc)

.........WOI File

.................WOI application file

.........SF2E application file,

.........SF2 Exp 1 application file (WOI Expansion)

.........SF2 Exp 2 application file (SF2 Expansion)

.........SF2NA application file

.........SF2V application file

 

 

 

if I run the WOI application file to start the game, I get a CTD when trying to exit from the single mission

If I run the SF2 Exp1, In WOI, I can get the main screen but when I try to run the single mission or quick mission, I get a CTD.

 

If I run the SF2 Exp2 - I have no problems in any areas of SF2

jack72, WOI is SFP1.  The SF2 Israel version is SF2I.  If you have WOI, it is not compatible with your SF2 install.

Does that mean that First Eagles is also part of the SFP1 line.  Will that run OK on Win 7 or 8.1?

Hello, FE and FEgold share lots of code with SF1. FE2 is more similar to SF2. I think that only FE2 runs on Win7 or higher. FE/FEgold is better for WinXP and lower.

to answer the question, FE2 is a completely seprate game, and does not need any of the SF2 titles to run
