halowraith1 Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 (edited) how about these for the 1946 ETO... pretty amazing; quite modern looking for 1945... imagine these up against f80s or early sabres... these two are on my wishlist Me. 1110/I Dimensions Length: 9.35m Height: 2.7m Wingspan: 8.2m Wing area: 16.79 m² Wing sweep: 40 degrees Weights Empty Weight: 2594 kg Loaded Weight: 4064 kg Maximum Takeoff weight: 4500 kg Maximum Wing Load: 257 kg/m² Performance Max Speed: 1015 km/h Ceiling: 12-14000m Equipment 1x HeS-011A Turbojet, 12 kN (although I think the HeS-011B would be better, with 14.7 kN) 3x MK108 in the nose, documents suggest that two more could be added into the wings, most likely the wing roots 2x X-4 for interdiction duty Me. 1112 V1 Dimensions Length: 7.2m, 8.15m including tail Height: 2.8m Wingspan: 7.6m Wing area: 19m² Wing sweep: 40 degrees Weights Empty Weight: 2290 kg Takeoff weight: 4673 kg Maximum Wing Load: 246 kg/m² Fuel Load: 1900 Liters Performance Max Speed: 1100 km/h Ceiling: 14000m Equipment 1x Heinkel HeS011B turbojet, 14.7 kN thrust 4x MK 108 30mm cannons OR 2x MK 108 30mm cannons + 2x MK 103 30mm cannons Edited August 2, 2016 by halowraith1 1 Quote

Wrench Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 well, duh! it's made for post-war, 1950s Fleet Air Arm useage you'll also notice, i said "based off of" . Oddly enough, the lod, and skin maps are all called "me1110". Quote

Fubar512 Posted August 3, 2016 Posted August 3, 2016 If one of our 3D specialists decides to create one, then good for you. Otherwise, you can always bone up on creating such things on your own (even using freeware apps such as blender), and then have someone with the proper version of 3ds Max import, animate, and export them to *.lod format for you, if they're willing. +daddyairplanes Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 I've heard the theory of that, has it actually been tested? Quote
Fubar512 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 I've heard the theory of that, has it actually been tested? Yes it has. The Mirage Factory MiG-29, F-15, and MiG-21 were all created in Blender by Flying Toaster, and exported into Max by Olie. Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Cool. Time to learn a new skill when I get home Quote
