PFunk Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Hey, guys. I can't get the canards to show up on the new Su-30SM. I recall having this problem on the Su-33 and I couldn't fix it then, either. I keep seeing the little pilot's butt hanging out of the bottom of the fuselage.
+yakarov79 Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 check ini files, for correct names, both in pilots folder and aircraft ini file.
PFunk Posted January 25, 2017 Author Posted January 25, 2017 The canards, I presume, belong in the Pilots folder? This may be my problem, because they're not there.
+yakarov79 Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 probably... I dont have su-30 but fake pilot always works same way.... this is lines from different aircraft but for fake pilot... [RC135]SystemType=PILOT_COCKPITPilotModelName=FakePilotPosition=0.0,0.0,0.0SeatModelName=RC-135S-CB_mod1 <=you need folder with files (ini and lod/skin bitmap) in pilots folder named as this (in this case RC-135S-CB_mod1)SeatPosition=0.0,0.0,0.0DetachWhenDestroyed=TRUECanopyNodeName=SeatID=3 1
PFunk Posted January 26, 2017 Author Posted January 26, 2017 LOL. Now I have both showing up. The canards AND the fake pilot.
amariani Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 This is from my Su-33 data.ini: [Fuselage] . . . SystemName[030]=Canards further down in // Crew . . . [Canards]SystemType=PILOT_COCKPITPosition=0.0,0.0,0.0PilotModelName=FakePilotSeatModelName=Su33canardsN1SeatPosition=0.0,2.2,0.47SeatID=2 Notice that fakepilot postion is set to 0.0,0.0,0.0 and the seatposition=0.0,2.2,0.47 is where the canards would show up. As you can see, no pilot hanging from the airplane.
PFunk Posted January 26, 2017 Author Posted January 26, 2017 Everything's looking good...the canards are now displayed....along with the pilot....
amariani Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Do you have a fakepilot folder within the Pilots folder?
PFunk Posted January 26, 2017 Author Posted January 26, 2017 Thank you. That was the missing link. I have one now with the clear transparency pilot skin and all is well. Appreciate your help and patience, sir. 1
+Stratos Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 While talking about Fake Pilot, is possible to have a working propellor using Fake Pilot method?
+yakarov79 Posted January 27, 2017 Posted January 27, 2017 No. I think no. Unless there is data ini for pilot with setting animation... but.. I think no. But I might be wrong.
