Skyviper Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 I've just finished my third watch of Hidden Figures a movie that, in a nutshell is like Apollo 13+Tuskegee Airmen+ A League of Their Own. The story focuses on the challenges the Space Program in early 60s faced during the Space Race. It also shed light on three black women whom made significant contributions to the success of the program. It's not a political statement in my opinion but a well written, edge of the seat, movie that I've watched every night for the last 3 nights start to finish. I really love this movie. And I'm wondering what your thoughts are about it. Quote
Caesar Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 I thought it was a good movie; captured the heavy lifting done by the scientists, engineers and mathematicians behind the scenes who almost never get the glory, and the difficulties faced by some of the most critical individuals behind the space program due to both gender and race at the time. +Menrva Posted April 15, 2017 Posted April 15, 2017 I'm planning to see it. I had the impression it was an interesting movie, and it is based on a true story as well. Quote
