MiG-25P Smerch radar range scales

A pic in the screenie thread reminde dme of a small range scale mod I made a while ago for the Smerch radar.

 

Move the textures smerch_radar25.zip into the cockpit folder

Edit the avionics ini, add/replace existing entries with the data below:

Good work crusader im in the midst of a total sf2 avionics upgrade myself to increase ai performance and situation awareness i use cross reference databases to increase my sf2 immersion and scour the internet for information and then troll the dll.s for usefull instructions to put sf2 at a knifes edge to take it to a true simulator. Theres tremendous room for graphics and ai enhancement for those souls who expend time to mod and get the most out of the game thanks to TK efforts.

In the final analysis its up too the individual to explore the power and rendering aspects of their hardware and software capabilities but i must say the sf1 and sf2 envelope provides the greatest open source capability of combat simulation out there for those who know and love modding!

Such mod, enhancing AI performance (specially in situational awareness and missile evasion) will be a very nice enhancement to the sim.

      I have recently downloaded and installed several MIG 25 FOXBAT models from the Combat Ace site. Whilst I am generally well pleased with the models, all of them exhibit a line of shadow which appears to be protruding from the aircraft and then striking the ground where the actual shadow of the aircraft is. Is it possible to rectify this issue without turning off the shadow.  Any help or advice would be most welcome.
