HerkDriverJ Posted May 6, 2018 Posted May 6, 2018 Gents, I'm no where close to an expert on SF2 and sometimes I get stumped..... Recently after downloading the Falklands campain I noticed "red air" icons (as I like to call them) are no longer showing up on the map view. Went through and through my settings and found nothing. Anyone ran into this before? As in the past, any and all help is greatly appreciated!!! Regards, -Harbs Quote
Wrench Posted May 6, 2018 Posted May 6, 2018 I can't remember what it is, but it's one of the inis that came with that mod turned them off. Done for historical reasons. EDIT: check to see if it added a HUDDATA.ini; that one controls the Map Icons Quote

Either that or it could also be a blank MAPENEMYICON.tga file inside the Flight folder. Remove it if you want to see Red planes showing up on the map view. 1 Quote
+1977Frenchie Posted May 6, 2018 Posted May 6, 2018 Check the HUDDATA.ini and check if these lines are set to TRUE or FALSE : [HUDLabels] EnableLabels=TRUE LabelFriendlyAir=TRUE LabelFriendlyGround=TRUE LabelEnemyAir=TRUE LabelEnemyGround=TRUE [MapLabels] EnableLabels=TRUE LabelFriendlyAir=TRUE LabelFriendlyGround=TRUE LabelEnemyAir=TRUE LabelEnemyGround=TRUE [Map] MapDisplayLabels=TRUE Quote
