Strange...as I'm flying Harrier II on SEAD my wingman (mix loadout - Mk20 + Mav ) releases Mav as soon as he has 'spike'. And when assigned to 'attack my target' he will attack immediately when in a range - Mav and then Mk20. Last is 25mm equalizer.

Like you, I've never had issues with A-10s due to its low & slow attack runs (which is why I assume it's such a good CAS asset in real life) with AGMs. It'll fire all 6 or so Mavericks and then start using any other weapons it has. But fast air like F-15s, F-16s, F/A-18s etc might fire one missile (if you're lucky) and then just orbit over the battlefield if on CAS or fly off into the sunrise if on a strike. 

Then everything is in Data.ini file. Either Aircraft or weapon.

 

But this is not a thing for this topic. I think. 

 

I would like to have few small things that can make game nicer... 

like lodaout ini file in skin folder - so you can have different loadouts for different units.

userlist.ini could determine how many aircrafts is in the game...if it says 5 of USAF..and 4 of USN  engine will not use higher number in game.

Some silly and boring transport and better recon missions. And maybe flyable (also boring) escort jammer. and  FAC !

better ground war.... convoys with AAA escorts...

Recently with SF Modern Combat TK have return to the PC machines even if this game is aimed at a différent audience. So...

In my opinion there is a (very) small hope so that TK improves SF2 at least for any optimisation to W10.

Moreover the thinking of our games (not forgetting FE2) is particular with its active (From 2002) community of skilled modders and skinners.

This could be a strengh in order to ask him later to rework and fix several part of the game.
