Changing the saved directory from C drive D Drive

I have one small question and maybe it sounds stupid.  I would like to change the saved directory from C drive D Drive as my C drive is full.  I tried copying the directory and changing the name to the new location
Directory=from C:<----------------------to D: \Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2
but still the game startup and create a new folder replacing the one I copied any help would be appreciated

That's what the Knowledge Base is for! (and MB is master of it !)

A note to all the new folks:

Always check the Knowledge Bases, both the SF2 and SF/Wo* (aka "1stGen") first!. I do admit the SF2 KB is not nearly as organized as the 1stGen one, so some digging may be required. If one can't find the subject, PLEASE post the questions! We'll try and help out as best we can!!!
