La-5FN (Avia S-95 Cockpit)

The La-5FN is the last of the La-5 modifications before improved La-7 and was one of the best prop planes. Designed to be contemporary to the universally feared German Bf-109, it maintains excellent energy retention, adequate speed, brutal acceleration, and an amazing turn rate. 

Consider this pit as is, therefore consider it as beta. As issued, the cockpit position in the cockpit ini is for the Dev-A Team's La-5. If used on any other, the position will require some positioning adjustments.

Could you PLEASE state WHICH La-5 this is for? I mean, there's more than one around ... Bunyap's really old (and still available) model for 1stGens. Then there's Capun's that only six or seven people around here can access.

Cockpit position is for A-Team La-5FN(Capuns) but you can use it with small changes with any Lavockin around  :)

well, buny's has never actually been uploaded here, apparently. And his site is loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong gone. I can't fine my original download archive, but did find Cocas' mod to the La-11 (same lod just renamed and hex edited). I'll have to look deeper, perhaps in my KAW folder (had a lot of stuff in there that never got release, like La-11s and MiG-9s. 

be advised, the aircraft has SERIOUS issues with shadow tractor beams. It may not even be worth fucking with, which makes releasing a mod for an aircraft that's available to the General Memebership (tm)  (only the Select Few Chosen Ones That Bend Over) even more ludicrous.

I don't think Bunyap ever made a La-5FN, only a La-9 and a La-11 (back in 2005).  AFAIK the only La-5 or La-5FN ever released are the A-Team versions.

Test it. Fantastic work! Very immersive and real. The only problem I found - no working rearview mirror. Any cure?

Yes, I must correct myself. Buny only did the 9 & 11.

The rearview mirror is easy to add to this great cockpit, by a couple of edits to the La-5FN_Cockpit.INI

 

First, under [CockpitSeat001]
......

Then at the end of the INI file, add this:
