+russouk2004 Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 (edited) Been watching from Pearl Harbour to the Bomb... what a series of films...showing here in uk on Smithsonian Channel.. a lot of it is previously un aired footage from various people including General Curtis LeMay`s home video camera footage. Its an eye opener...horrific war on land and sea...island warfare sucks...the heroes those men are.... also shows what humanity is at its worst..... some scenes show it as it was.....bodies everywhere in various states of decay etc.....makes you hope wars will end.... all in all a very dramatic series and emotional too....for all sides... a must see........ rlwicker1967 Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Are you talking about WWII in HD on Netflix?
+Wrench Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 no, it's a different series. we've had it here in States for a year or 2. Lots of personal rememberences, like LeMay's home movies -and others. 1
WallysWorld Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 I watched the series on Smithsonian Channel Canada more than once and it's excellent.
