I was asked about this by EricJ, and took a look at my own (which needed some culling). Apparently, we can only do them one at a time.

Is there anyway to be able to select *a given number*, and do a mass delete?

I just looked at my files and deleted all the big files that I don't need anymore, but I am afraid you only can do that one by one.

That's intentional by design. A mass delete feature while handy can cause more problems than it's worth. I can hear the "I deleted all my attachments and now all my posts have no content, can you fix it?" requests as I'm typing this. I probably won't change this solely for this reason. Sorry?
