Kirby2012 Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 In the Game. It is my VERY basic understanding there are 3 types of arming pits in the Terrains folder. Pit 1. Pit 8. Pit 16. Is there a way to transform them from metal to say sandbags like were actually used in Korea. These screenshots are not from Korea 3 Terrain , just example. Just curious....
+Wrench Posted June 13, 2021 Posted June 13, 2021 Cause I"m pretty sure I did that for the K3 terrain (I recognize my own work -- the large sun shelters were a dead giveaway that one ain't mine) use the attached bmp. just drop it into the terrain folder. Be advised, it will change ALL the arming pits, for all time Pit1.BMP
Kirby2012 Posted June 13, 2021 Author Posted June 13, 2021 (edited) Guess I am doing something wrong. Didn't change anything for me. Edited June 13, 2021 by Kirby2012
+Wrench Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 you put it directly into the terrain folder itself, yes??? yo can open the bmp, and see it, right?? I've zipped it up' see if this one works. the pits should look like the image below Pit1.7z 1
Kirby2012 Posted June 14, 2021 Author Posted June 14, 2021 (edited) Thanks for all the extra effort Kevin. Something is porked, I do not know what? This is a completely un-modded stand alone install. Downloaded from here. https://combatace.com/files/file/15221-wings-over-korea-1-of-3/ Installation instructions followed to the letter. Edited June 14, 2021 by Kirby2012
Kirby2012 Posted June 19, 2021 Author Posted June 19, 2021 (edited) Would it be possible to update the KoreaV3 Terrain. Dropping in the supplies file just does not work for me. This should be a simple matter of copy and paste. It is so strange. I can use the supplied BMP files and change the STOCK 3rd wire Terrains, But not Korea..... Edited June 19, 2021 by Kirby2012

Korea uses seasons, so each seasoned tileset uses its own folder. Stock terrain object textures, such as this one you're dealing with, must be copied inside each tileset subfolder as well.
