GAR-8/AIM-9B Schematics

Recommended Posts

In case you don't know me, I'm a Sgt in the Spanish Army, currently getting training in electronics at the Army's Polytech School. I just did a proyect in which i updated the circuitry from a WW2 VT fuze with solid state electronics, and i wanted to keep doing stuff like that, updating vintage electronics to solid state.

Could anybody point me where I could get  some declassified, legal electrical schematics for early, vacuum tube Sidewinders guidance circuits? Meaning Bs mostly, I read it was around built with 24 parts and the greatest challenge was to get it to work with so few.

The closest i got to it was this:

This should help you. https://archive.org/search.php?query=creator%3A"Bureau+of+Naval+Weapons"

Looks like they have manuals and patents related to sidewinder.

Edit: These may also help. https://archive.org/details/fire-control-equipment-manuals/

Thanks a lot! There a lot of stuff to milk out there
