Carter28 Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Been a long time since i did fully fresh install of WOE Gen1 and came up with the expected d3dx9_39.dll thing. I've have what's needed, but forgot where it was supposed to go. So before i go messing about i figured i'd ask here first. Quote
+GKABS Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Generally all dll file are under C:\Windows\System32 Quote
bazillius Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 (edited) Yes. but it's more safe to place them exactly in folder with your.exe file you want to run (i never played SF1 i just tell my experience in other games). In this case the dll will be used ONLY this program not with others. So sometimes this is not very desirable globally. Edited March 8, 2023 by bazillius missssssssssssssssprint 1 Quote

This issue came up back in 2014 IIRC and here in the forums was the answer where it went. I've been looking around but haven't found it yet. Quote
