This coming year, I'm planning to pick up one of your books. Which one would you suggest I start with?

The 2-4 Cavalry series is my first series, while the others are part of a larger universe. Most stories are standalone, but do follow a chain of events kind of thing, so you can find a book that interests you, but you won't miss much if you do. I'd suggest going to my author page and finding something you like.

I'm also writing a full-length novel, and I've completed approximately 1.4 million words so far (counting in our language).

Of course, I won't promote it here, due to politeness and language reasons.

It's basically told from the third-person perspective of an 18A officer (yes, based on real-life Green Berets), and it tells the story of the modern world encountering a medieval civilization in another world, essentially set against the backdrop of unconventional warfare and special opearations.

It currently serializing on an online reading website, which is currently flooded with a lot of AI-generated garbage (I mean, the problem isn't the AI , but the authors who don't even bother to read the text generated).

What surprised me was that there were even quite a few people who enjoyed reading those works, even though they were essentially just repetitive content and meaningless piles of words.

Impostor syndrome is what every writer goes through, even me. Anyway, so far even as a moderator I try and focus on doing my moderator duties as well as promote my work. I keep it to this topic only because I have a job to do, and posting my work on other topics is pretty much not what is in the spirit of the site.

Anyway, if you ever get it translated to English, it would be an interesting perspective from a foreigner on what is basically a mostly English market.

And I mainly write now special ops stuff too, though I I do have a series with a normal mercenary unit doing normal PMC stuff. But most of my focus on are counterinsurgency themes, with some special ops twists to it, as well as other tropes. Assymetric warfare will become more of a thing (I think it's already there), along with conventional war stuff. It's literally impossible to fully convince a population that X Army is the good guys, and there will be insurgent warfare more and more.
