Is there an F-18 mod for SF2 North Atlantic?

I just installed the Desert Storm Mod and it adds an F-18 to the game. How can I use that or maybe another mod to add the F-18 to the North Atlantic campaign?

You could check the Downloads section for SF2, there are mods there...

I found this one...

 

and it says... " Just drop contents into any SF2 series Mod Folder. "

I read that the mods folder needs to go in the save games folder so I put the unzipped files in this path but I do not see the F-18 available. Did I put the mods folder in the wrong place?

that is not the mods folder

To UnderTheRadar: Yeah you did it wrong. The aircraft goes in the Objects/Aircraft folder, and the other folders, check out the tutorial in the Knowledge Base.

It should be noted that those aircraft doesn't support the NA radar ability (able to lock onto multiple targets at once), but some ini editing you will be able to get that functionality.

Now that the aircraft and it's bits are installed, the ACTUAL question can be addressed:

The stock NA campaign takes place BEFORE Hornets entered the Fleet. You'd need a new campaign, expecially written to include the F/A-18s after they entered service. I'm sure, if one looks, there's one around here someplace!!

There is a 1986 mod for SF2:NA. I believe it is called Red Storm Rising (RSR). It has the F-18A.

Jeez, I came into this only owning NA and Europe. I needed Israel for Desert Storm and now I need Vietnam and Vanilla for RSR.

$120 more for a 10+ old year old game...

Oh well, as long as it is fun!
