How am I able to remove the menu HUD thing from my screen? (i.e, the one that says):

 

(Insert Name) 11

Speed: 500 Knots

Heading: 1 Deg

Throttle: Whatever percent

there is a sizeable knowledge base in the SF2 threads. theres also a manual (in your main "ThirdWire" program folder) that should cover basics like that

Update, does it work with Yankee Air Pirate? Doesn't work with that mod..

Another update, trying to press Alt+D playing YAP, didnt work.

Checked the controls, couldn't find anything..

You can go in the options and go to Gameplay, and click from the drop down menu Customize. Then select HUD to Hard

This is a little mod I've made for myself, to mantain only the speech subtitles and the hint about weapons selection, chaff/flare release, radar lock, etc. in the left side. I've removed info about speed, heading, callsign, altitude, target red squares and waypoint triangle. In the Options you have to set all on Hard except HUD on Normal.
