video What do you use for making a video

I have an nice talk about VR with @MajorMagee  at the Simouthouse forum and want to make a video clip about the graphical shimmer I have in VR mode. 

To make this, I need advice on what free software to use for publishing a Woff video and for me as an old RB veteran from the 90’s also important, how to use that video capture software?

I use the included software with my NVidia card that used to be called Shadowplay. I edit it with Pinnacle Studio. Keep in mind that it is capturing the signal output from the card and may not represent what you see in your headset. Here's a recent video I did with it:

That video is a lot sharper than what I am seeing in my headset, so it may or may not capture the shimmer. The good news is that if you have an NVidia card, you can find out for free! Let me know if you want to discuss this more!

I need the exact VR visuals on my recordings, trying to use OBS free capture software, but it’s only generating black screens. 
Btw how is FC nowadays, a couple of years ago it was a bit of a disappointment for me. Anything real new or is FC still in the 2009 RoF repeat mode?

It's probably great for PvP. For single player or COOP, the AI is still a huge disappointment, coupled with no native career coop mode. In VR, with some friends and the Pat Wilson Campaign Generator, it can be fun in doses...they do claim to be working on the AI, there is a thread on it over on the forums.

Thanks, was hoping with the dismissal of Jason “bully” Williams that the predictable and cheapbuild strategies would be changed to something new and refreshing.
