+daddyairplanes Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 what does it say on top of this tail? i have done a round with google translate, and it comes back "experience is important" doesnt quite seem right tho, so i figured i's ask in here 1
Svetlin Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 Well, the word-for-word translation to "experience is important" is correct. A rather loose translation could be "experience makes difference". In other words a newer and more modern aircraft does not guarantee victory over an old F-16A, if the latter is flown by an experienced pilot and instructor. Pictures from Top Gun with Skyhawk against Tomcat come to mind So, it makes some sence to me, could be totally wrong of course. 7 1
+daddyairplanes Posted October 7, 2024 Author Posted October 7, 2024 a belated thank you sir some company promo materials i found after your answer has the mantra "Experience Matters", so thats probably what they intended 1
+Gepard Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 "Experiece Matters" would be " Опыт имеет значение " in russian.
+daddyairplanes Posted October 7, 2024 Author Posted October 7, 2024 gotcha but i dont think they could make that fit on a Vipers tail and be readable other than a few feet away. plus it is a Canadian company providing DACT services to the USAF. so not a crowd thats really that is reading it vs seeing it looks cool, and has the rough message rather than being a PMC version of a Chinese letter tatoo that say "Lunch Special #9"... 3
