Got the majority of my SF2 stuff loaded on the new machine, and went back to work on the Espana map. Had to make some height field adjustements, so use the TFD tool.

At the rez I'm using (11something by 6 something), I can actually read the frakking numbers like never before!! I know the TFD tool doesn't have a high rez, but this is finally what I can use, without resorting to a magnifying glass to read it!!! LOL!!

I may be starting to like this monitor ...

eh, WindowsOS allows you to set FONT / TEXT sizes, general size overall too.

I would set your monitor to native resolution and adjust all the size settings afterward.

what he said. monitor like you got, you should be at least hittin 1920x1080 resolution

course you only got one. did you know that local stores dont usually carry 12ft long  Displayport cables?

I hope there’s a lot of SF2 shortcut icons behind that tfdtool window because that desktop’s looking pretty empty…

They're in the Games folder. I still haven't rebuild the WW2 mods folders (MTO, ETO, PTO) or KAW. Along with any naval sims (Atlantic Feet only at the moment) I have this aversion to a cluttered desktop.

BTW, I looked up the "recommended" native rez for the monitor,  --!!!!! 2550 x 1440 !!!!!! don't think these old eyes can handle that!!

Really for that monitor, it goes that high. I would go with the 1080 res and adjust the fonts and text size in Win11 accordingly. They also have in at leat Win10 has an eye strain setting, takes the blueish color away for ease on eyes.

For a quick setting I think you hold the ctrl key and roll the mouse wheel to adjust the size of things.  Place the cursor on the window you want to resize quick., like desktop or browser.
