Any sense of when we might expect the WOI expansion pack? Seems like before they said possible Spring of '09!?!

Today i took a Mig-21 F-13 up for a single mission, hadn't flown it in ages and was very happy to dodge a couple sparrows and get an F4 with an AA-2. Saw a 2nd explode before I could close on him. Then I bopped up to 50,000 feet and dove down on my airfield for a nice little buzzing and to see if I could fly this thing fast and low. Landed and was surprised to see two kills on the board for me! One from AA-2 and one listed as N/A! Cool I scared him into the ground! Soo, I check the log and... the second kill was a tent I set on fire with my afterburner. LOL Hm, wondered why i hadnt noticed that smoke on the first pass.

[CampaignData] StartDate=09/01/1959 - This is the first day of the campaign. StartDateDeviation=30 - This entry randomizes the start date. Set it to 0 for the campaign to start at the same date every time. ForceWithInitiative=0 - I'm not sure exactly what it does. The entry will correspond to one of the "forces" defined below. MaxMissions=30 - Number of missions until the campaign automatically ends. NormalMissionRate=360 - The number of days between missions when no ground offensives are in progress. NormalMissionRateDeviation=120 - Not sure. I think it randomizes the number of days between missions.

A long long time ago I changed my Field of View in First Eagles. I've thought of trying it in SF series, but haven't got around to it. Here's what TK told me to do: Each aircraft should have xxx_cockpit.ini file (you might have to extract these) that has left and right view limits listed as MaxYaw= and MinYaw=. TK -- You might try playing with this in SF series and let me know if it works?

you'll get it, you'll just be able to wait a wee bit more for it is all. Atleast that is my experience, I got the first SFP1 and even knowing that the patches would update my game, I haven't been able to stop myself from buying every title in the series except SF2. And I will get it, jeez for the price and all the free add-ons! Its just addictive. Oh, and I got the FE titles 2. Great fun to buy yourself a gift every now and then!

OK, Thanks guys! Wrench, good to know how to do the whole thing, because I will want to one of these days. Man, i get sucked into this series! For now though I'll stick to the Column 5 mods, they're awesome anyway, and I've been looking at the Harrier campaign for SFP1 that includes A-7s....might let someone else do the work. LOL. Glad to know I wasn't missing something obvious and simple tho! Oh and Wrench, thanks for all the great stuff you've published in the KB! Wonderful community here.

Sorry for the probably stupid question, but I've read through the KB and still can't find what I am doing wrong. I thought it would be simple to copy a plane folder for say the A-7 from WoV and paste it in my SFP1 install, but that doesnt work. It seems like I may need to extract some other files and copy them over as well, but i cant figure out what they might be. I figure this has been discussed before but my searches in this forum have yet to turn anything up. Any help/ links would be greatly appreciated!!

What files do I need to extract to add a SFP1 plane to WOI? or a WOV plane to WOE? Been serching KB etc, yet haven't pound this info.

Ooops, disregard above post, i just found the menu items when making a seperate install for this. Very Nice!! I like the music better than the anthem, which got anoying after a while, and the menu screens etc are just wonderful! Thanks again for this Campaign!

Yes it is a tough decision. But as commander of this unit I have to make it. So I have decided on..... Both. I'm just gonna start 2 campaigns one for the Sluff, and one for the Scooter! This is so much better than real life where you actually have to decide on just one girl..per theatre of operations anyway!

Looking for a cost effective attack aircraft for my next nexxt mercenary adventure. I've just come from Flying Thuds in Europe and am thinking of giving a smaller aircraft a try. Since I'm at work and can't take them up right now I thought I'd ask for y'alls thoughts on these two types, which you prefer to fly and fight in and which you feel is more survivable. We're not sure where we'll be fluiong, but I'd put my money on the desert somwhere in oil country.
