I discovered this game last weekend and am currently playing it; it's fantastic!
My uncle, who passed away 14 years ago, was in the maintenance crew of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Force during the war, and I often heard him talk about New Guinea and the battle for the mainland, so the content is very interesting to me. Now I also want to play a battle for the air defense of mainland Japan, so I'm having fun tweaking the Japanese terrain map a bit and adding army and navy airfields.
