This represents the "field modified" versions, that painted over the glass nose, and installed additional machine guns, creating the 'strafer' version. This package =ONLY= represents Mitchells used in the PTO/SoWesPac region. However, research has NOT indicated their use anywhere other than the New Guinea and neighboring regions for this Mitchell variant. This package =ONLY= represents Mitchells used in the PTO/SoWesPac region. Reminder: this is the Glass Nosed, bombadier equipped version, NOT the multi-gun nosed strafer version. Those will come later, as they are finished. However, Because these skins carry no distinguishing squadron markings, they'd be usable throughout the Pacific Basin, and even into the CBI theatre (read: AAF units in China and India).
