When I click Open, the program close itself. And I have run compatibility mode.

I can´t understand this weapon editor.After activate compatibility mode, I open it .How I open tje weapon data? Clicking "open" or "import"? Because eveytime I do this , the program close itself. It´s so easy in the explanation, but I was never able to do it working for me...

If you saw the dogfights series in history channel, you have the impression they do almost always gun kills in the six days war.

This is really good news SayWhat. Looking forward for those patches. I missed so much carrier ops and NATO fighters, but every time I go flying WOV or WOE is boring like hell, like shooting ducks or at retarded enemy pilots.(not politically correct here )

I think is a shame that since WOI was released , I can´t touch WOV/WOE anymore , so big the difference in AI to me. I know that TK is working in a new Suez add-on, ( and I will bought it for sure) , but I really liked those titles. I don´t know nothing about programming, but since all this games have the same engine, maybe will be not so complicated to bring WOI and WOE to the same WOI level?

This missile is useless to me in WOI. I never managed a kill with it so, I realized that I probably not firing at right envelope. Somebody had good results lauching it?

No, we will see both of them in the future, they are not dead.The time is passing and simulations are becoming more and more complex to coding (million and millions of code lines) They are demanding bigger staffs, much bigger budgets and of course more time to be completed, because our upcoming "for fun"simulations will be more realistic than military simulations of few years ago...Just see the case of GT5 from Poliphony Digital, 4 years are passed and they need 1 year more to deliver the complete game.The lead programmer has told that each car demands 180 days to be modeled, and the game are supposed to have 1000 cars... We have to deal with the reality of bigger intervals between generations of flight sims or , just pay bigger prices on them, to allow even bigger staffs to complete them faster.But, I don´t think the market is prepared to do this...

It´s important to me to stay clear to all, this post was not started as a critic, but more as a compliment to TK and his effort. My question about him doing next generation flight sim was because I feel we have few talented and passionated programmers like him capable to create really interesting flight sims.(not too arcadish ones,like Ace Combat) I´m glad to see, this is an effort that probably will have future childs, if we support him in his work.

With the natural ageing of the Thirdwire series , and the release of next generation flight sims like SOW, KOTS and Jet Thunder, will we have new flight sim from TK with new engine and graphics? Any comments from him about this?

I don´t know if I agree ... It isn´t the same thing, but is very rewarding to see the enemy pilots bailing out under fire in Il2 for example... I think it will be nice and probably add to imersion to see enemy pilots ejecting from her Migs after having a SW on their tails...

The new WOI patch made the FM and AI even better,making me not willing to fly in WOE anymore.( I finished two flights of Su7 with my Lightning and the bastards don´t do anything to avoid me, only flying straight to death) So, anybody knows if the previous games will be updated?

I´m flying the Mig 21MF in the extend stock campaign for WOI.When I installed the Mig 21 MF add-on cockpit , have noticed that the canopy stays opened all the flight, but only in external view. The pilot also stays seated not in the cockpit, but placed more to the rear , almost inside the fuselage. Anybody knows a way to fix this?I try to change the cockpit open mechanism in the INI , changing AUTOMATIC_SPEED to MANUAL, but it doesn´t work...

I think will not to be easy in a real conflict to any pilot survive for more than a few days. The pilot´s hability are not a match for last generation missiles. That´s the reason because I think the seventies and early eighties are the date limit to model combat flight sims that are really fun for us. Just because you can´t dodge a MICA,SRAAM,AMRAAM or last generation Pythons forever...One,two times with lucky , ONLY if you have one missile a time against you. That´s the reason I droped LOMAC, because it was really frustrating.Impossible to finish a campaign , for example. BTW , I´m not a newbie to flight sims, started on the old days with FS 1.0 ( in glorious green phosphorus screen,remember?) Maybe, TK could add a little more deep in his next generation combat flight engines , but maintaining all the great fun we have now.

Thank you Charles, I have downloaded already. But, I have a problem with the campaign not showing at the menu.I put the Blood April file in the "campaign" root , and all the others files as instructed in the read me, but the game is not "seeing" Blood April as a valid campaign. Can you help?

When I try to fly the Gotha , I always have a blue screen.I´m assuming this is happening because the data ini is listing the cockpit as the Fokker D7. I downloaded my file from combatace, before it was removed, but I think the cockpit was missing.I don´t know if is too much to ask you the files I have to extract to make a cockpit file so the gotha can work?( I sincerely don´t want to violate any copyrights of your beautiful work) Thank you.

I have won those beautiful Iron Cross ans Pour le Merite medals , but I realized that there is no place where you can stock it to see later. Am I right?

Well, I had so many blue screens of death playing LOMAC , I think of it as "LOMAC the real bug simulator."

I am thinking about to buy FE , so what I have to do? Buy FE and mod it , or FE+EP? Have no idea after reading all this discussion!
