  1. so would it be better to remove the long warheads from the Air Force and Navy launchers ??? i was thinking about that all the time about the LAU-3C and D are there any pictures of them available ??? i was thinking to add a LAU-3C in grey color with Mk66 rockets but i can not find any pictures to support that
  2. what is causing this ??? it only happens with the WilliePeteGroundExplosion , i checked the WPEXPLOSION.tga and i could not find anything wrong with it how can i fix this , or has sombody fixed that problem already ???
  3. sorry the game does not allow that , i try that but i would need a ASYMMETRICAL entry in the weapons_data i made that setting for the 2BR_TER but the game does not allow that for rocket pods you have to add 2BR to the weaponstation on the aircraft you like to use this 2BR_TER.7z

Thanks it is working now do we need this variation of pods LAU-3A , LAU-3C , LAU-3D there is no real difference between them ??? or would the list below enough ??? i have now the - LAU-3A_____________ replacment for the TW launcher - LAU-3_MK40_xxx_____without nose and tail fairing - LAU-3A_MK40_xxx____with nose and tail fairing - LAU-3_xxx_Twin______twin launcher without nose and tail fairing - LAU-3A_xxx_Twin_____twin launcher with nose and tail fairing -
  5. Thank you very much , it was my mistake i forgot to add the Effects entry on the bottom , now everything works do you have by any changes the [smokeMarkerEffects) ??? it is listed in the M274 ini but it does not work and i can not find this effect in my effects folder
  6. i made that one already but i could make a new model with a bit more details but i have an other problem , i dont get the YellowWilliePeteGroundExplosion to work ( the tga is working ) as soon as i add this effect to a rocket the rocket shows no explosions or any smoke effects YellowWilliePeteGroundExplosion.7z if sombody could help me on that one that would be great
  7. i just found this picture , it is the first picture i have shown the M151 and the long M229 warhead together with Mk40 rocket motors and guess where i found it , 189th Assault Helicopter Company , Avenger Photo Page i´m more and more convinced that this large warheads are for use on helicopters by Army , Air force and Navy
  8. the drawing with the more pointed front fairing is from the F-4F weapons delivery manual , i think it is more for low drag purpose as for more length i think i make two versions of this Rocket pods one with cover and without this long warhead rockets and one version without cover but with long warhead rockets until we know for sure that this long warhead rockets not only for the army's M-pods
  9. i found this picture of a LAU-3A loaded with WDU-4/A and M151 and this is how it looks on my LAU-3 model it looks like that my LAU-3 model is ok , i loaded the rocket fully to the end of the launcher , i dont know how far this rockets reach in to the launcher on the real thing what brings me back to the question above , are this long warheads only for use on ARMY M - launchers ??? they dont have any cover
  10. for the rockets i have pretty good material including drawings and almost all measurements , for the launchers i have only a few drawings and the weapons manual from some fighter aircrafts for the LAU-3 i have 2 measurements one with 6,4 feet and one with 7,3 feet i took the metric measurements from the first drawing -

  16. the game automatically updates all TW aircraft so even if you delete all the unwanted aircraft the TW ones will always come back i was trying to fix this in a WWII installation , with some specific year entries , it did partially work i hope someone will find a way to fix this

    do you have diameter and lenght ??? and how ist the color and markings of a live weapon ???
  20. i just check my TW F-15A , the tailhook entry is in the Data.ini and it works in game dont know if this is a original Data.ini , i may have changed the ejection seat and some missile possition / angle , but the hook works F-15A_DATA.7z -
  21. tailhook is one of the items that you can animate in the Data.ini , all you need is the name of the hook object , no need of anemating it in 3ds max all you have to do is to add the entry below the gear entrys - [Tailhook] SystemType=ARRESTER_HOOK MaxDeflection=60.0 Retractable=TRUE DeployTime=2.0 ModelNodeName=tailhook______________________ you may have to change this to the correct name HookArmLength=2.16 _________________________ may need adjustment AttachmentPosition=0.0,-6.19,-0.79 _______________ may need adjustment and dont forget to add the Tailhook entry in the Fuselage section - SystemName[015]=Tailhook

    aahhh... ok you talking of CATM-9 and CATM-120 , i can make some more of them no problem i only made the CATM-9M , i think it is part oft the F-16 pack or F-16 agressor pack AIM-9_Training and ACMI-pods.7z also includet in this pack are this ACMI pods -
