  1. OMG!!! Pant, pant, salivate, salivate.... That promises to be one AWESOME sim! GO NAVAIR! NC
  2. Hey Beer, From what I have read on SimHQ, it appears there is a new Vietnam Era sim in the works. That is all I could glean from the posts. Doesn't appear to have anything to do with SFP1. I would really like it, though, if the aircraft in SFP! could be used in this "mysterious" new sim. The detail and fantastic graphics will be hard to duplicate. Navy Chief

Welcome Faust! Yep, Ivan is soon to head towards the US. I live just north of Atlanta, GA, and we're expecting a lot of wind and rain as a result. Batten down the hatches! Navy Chief
  4. Thougth I would share with you. Heh, heh. Navy Chief
  5. A report of a huge explosion in North Korea and Iran is defiant in furthering its nuclear program. Things are definitely escalating. Not a good sign. Navy Chief
  6. I know I have asked about this before, but I would like to know if Aircraft Carrier Operations are still being worked on by someone, or is it a dead issue? Does anyone know? Bring on the big gray "boats"! I used to have a CMC who was a BMCM who would literally cringe if a sailor used the word "boat" to describe a carrier. Navy Chief Launch'em!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Hi Nick, It appears as though the entire film, "You Can Count On Me" was shot in New York State. The website url: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0203230/locations mentions it. Sorry to hear your momma cat is having problems. I agree with Firehawk's advice, but will add one thing to it. As soon as her skin problems are taken care of, and her babies are weaned.....you really should get her spayed. Cat and I would love to see pictures of her babies too!! Pete Oh yes, one more thing. Flea collars are useless on cats if you have one on her. The only thing that actually works, is the once a month drops on her neck. i.e...... Revolution or Advantage brand products.
  8. Hey PG, You can preorder it at: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00...5150548-1555158 Finances are kinda tight for me right now, but when possible, I am buying this one! NC
  9. Simply superb! Thanks! NC
  10. From what I read on the reviews, isn't it for CFS3, not FS2004? Navy Chief

  19. Thanks to both of you. I believe I will get Mortgage Insurance; whether I get it from the agent I spoke today or not. Navy Chief
  20. I know that Kazouri Ito has created a Phantom for FS2002/2004, but it lacks all the animations of most aircraft available for FS9. Besides that, the panel really is not impressive. Oh, not that I could do any better. Y'all know me by now, and quite aware that I am NOT a designer! I am simply wondering if a better Phantom is out there. I don't mind if it is payware, but I have yet to see a good F-4B or J model yet. Let me know if any of you know about one. Thanks. NC
  21. I applied for my homeowner's insurance today, and the agent brought up the subject of Mortgage Insurance. Although I am in good health now, he explained that should something happen to me, Mortgage Insurance would pay off the house; allowing my wife less financial worries as a result. I was wondering if anyone out there could advise me on this? Thanks. NC
  22. The dreary weather of Washington; specifically, Whidbey Island, did not bother me. I adapted to it easily. The scenery is so, so beautiful there. Green all the time. Suicide rate is high there, among younger types. I recall that a LOT of jumpers choose the bridge at Deception Pass, which is just north of the base. Underneath the bridge, I believe the current converges from seven different directions at once! Beautiful to see, but absolutely deadly to jump into. Navy Chief
  23. Hey Dutchy, I would do this myself, if I spoke Dutch, but what about contacting someone with the Dutch Marines? Perhaps they might be able to do some research for me??? Sorry to bother you with it. Thanks, NC
  24. California? That, my friend, will not happen. Aside from the cost of moving cross country, I wouldn't even consider CA as a place to live. No offense to you folks who live there! If I were to move that direction, it would be back to Whidbey Island, WA. God's Country. Navy Chief
  25. Things could change, obviously, but if I lived in Florida (not likely) I would be definitely considering a permanent move to another state! Navy Chief
