I don't hear the prop or engine sounds for either of these planes. I moved the sounds into the correct folder and have tried the soundlist.ini in the flight, sounds, objects and even the aircraft folder - no joy. I have tried each channel setting and reverse-stereo - no joy. I have a Soundblaster x-gamer 5.1 card and it works fine with all other planes. Where am i screwingup? looking for help, suggestions, comments or other, savagkc

The other planes work fine, no problems. I did not have a soundlist.ini file in the flight folder before. thanks, savagkc

Not a bad plane considering all the work involved in putting it into a jet sim. I get no engine or prop sounds at all tho. What am i doing wrong? I put the soundlist.ini into the flight folder and the proploop sounds into the sound folder (like the readme says to..... thanks for the prop job, good handling, savagkc

I should be the very last one to question since i'm not smart enough to do skins, or planes but: Is everyone working on new planes going to release them all on the same day? I mean, lots of updates and progress reports, etc, but no new planes! Don't get me wrong, i dont mean this as a bitch, just wondering when some new life-blood will be pumped into this great game....... I know patch #2 is being worked so maybe thats the hold up. All you guys that can do these great things are waiting to see what changes will be added and what impact on your planes??? Is that it? curious, savagkc

Im not doing to good, i 'm afraid! I ran across a half carton that i didn't know i had so there went the ball game. I am determined to not spend anymore money on cigarettes tho. it would seem to help if you set a goal to look forward for. Like i want to get a new CPU, case and all. That cost a lot of cigs. I havent given up on stopping smoking but, admittedly, not doing as well as i should. Altho after smoking for fifty (thats 50) i did expect a relapse (or 2,3) . Still in there fighting. If i can keep it to 1 or 2 smokes a day for a couple days. Then i figure i drop it all togeather and only go crazy 1 or 2 times a day. You keep at it. savagkc

Is there a tone, buzz, whistle, beep beep, sound, light or something that is supposed to soundoff when a SAM has targeted you? I dont hear/see anything...... I just get blown up and have no idea why or by who or from where...... savagkc

OK, First; when flying night missions (3rd party made missions) the game will lock up on me after pressing ALT-N. Is alt-n allowed in the mission editor? Or is it because its a night mission or 3rd party mission? I doubt its because of being a night mission.. Second: Some of the missions (i'm still talking 3rd party missions) are so busy, that the game (fps) slows to a crawl - 4/5 fps. Anyone else having this condition? $1500.00 bucks can buy a pretty good PC these days or one heck of a CPU upgrade if thats all u need! Decent downpayment on a new car! A trip to the Bahamas ! A present for your spouse(?)! Suggestion: I like to go straight to the forms because the loadup time for the home page is slow (for those with dialups, like me). When i do go to the homepage its because of the downloads section. Have you thought of just making a link to the heaver graphics sections? It would greatly improve the load time and those who wanted to hit the link could.... Outstanding site BTW. savagkc

Well, i have it and find it quite enjoyable once all the tweaking was done. Its not really a bad sim, just needs some polishing up. With a patch expected (who would ever guess that MS would admit to a fault) soon and all the 3rd party guys working to improve it. I expect tohave it around for a while. Much as i like SFP1, there is still nothing like a close-up kill! Only drawback now is that i still have a little stutter (hoping patch will fix it). MS says: game was made for top-end systems and future (read more powerful) systems. They are changing this as we speak, i wish them luck. Seems like this one hurt MS in the pocket book, thats why a patch is coming (and all the complaints (must have been thousands just from Netwings site).
