I don't seem to have any falcon missiles in my weapons file. It is listed as aim-4d in the weapon editor, but there is no ini file for it. I just downloaded the most current weapons pack for WOE (which is what I am using) and they are not there. Is there another weapon file to get the falcons?

First of all, I would like to say thank you to you and Dave, and any other contributors for all of your work adding every version of the F-101! I have been away from the game for some time, and was thrilled to see someone add the voodoo. I have just about got the game working up to speed, but have not yet figured out how to add weapons or tanks to all of the voodoos. A nudge in the right direction is all I am asking, the models are fantastic, but with no missiles, I can't fly a mission. There is probably some tutorial I am missing. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I have been dying to fly the F-101 for years. It's my bird. Sorry to ask so many questions. Thank you again. Delta6Actual

Thanks awfully old chum! That worked. I actually missed step 5. Going back into the game, all of my weapons are available, except for all of the F-101 stuff I added. Are those to be added in the weapons editor separately, or perhaps I don't fully understand step 1 and 6?

I am really desperate here. I have no weapons, besides guns. I hoped the fix would be the latest weapon data editor, but this has done nothing. Could there be another reason why I lost all my weapons? I'm going nuts here!

I think I am having the same problem. I just reinstalled this game in my computer after like 2 years. I put in the latest patch from 3rdwire, and the latest weapons pack from here. All of my missiles, drop tanks, and ordinance are gone. I don't seem to have a weapondata.ini file anywhere. I haven't played this game in years, and I want to get back into it. Any help would be appreciated.

I hate to kick a dead horse, but when I try to fly any mission, I get the d3dx9_31.dll warning. For some reason, my computer will not download the new directx version. It won't let me install some plug-in? I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've been away from the game for about a year and a half, and I forgot Everything!

Also, never set it down once you pick it up, that's when they fall apart So never stop, and eat like a man dammit!

On that note, are there any good books on the Voodoo available? I have a slim aerofax book on the B and F models. I know Squadron never did an "In-Action" series. There is a new book out called Voodoo Warriors. Has anyone read this one, is it worth getting? Are there any other good books out there?

There is currently a moratorium on the death penalty in Illinois. I have not been around long enough to see anyone sentenced to death. However, some inmates, when talking about there cases, state that they would rather get the death penalty, because, they think they will have more access to legal help to fight their case. It goes back to my point, they don't care. They don't care if they live or die. It's not every single one, but the vast majority...

The weather thing is kinda true. This past winter was the worst we've had in I don't know how many years. It either snowed or was below zero for months. Nationwide, crime rates are effected by the weather. The hotter it is, the more crime you have. The real problem here is that there is something wrong with the attitudes of people and with society in general. We have always had guns around. Its just that nowadays, if someone looks at you funny, you kill him. I'm a correctional officer at Cook County Jail. I see these idiots come in every day. The problem is, they just don't give a F#$% about anything. They really don't. Kill someone; who cares. Kill the wrong person; who cares. They'll laugh about it. Get locked up; who cares. I have actually seen inmates come back from court after getting sentenced to natural life, sit down in the dayroom and play cards like nothing happened. They just don't give a S#%&. Where is society going wrong in this world when an 18 year old can find out he's gonna die in prison, and not give a damn?

Tonight, I was watching Mail Call on the history channel, and got quite a shock. They were talking about Medevac choppers at Fort Irwin. They interviewed the crew chief, the pilot, and when they got to the flight medic, I knew the guy!. His name is Frank Vasquez. I went to medic school with him at Ft. Sam back in 96-97. He was prior service and was always cool with all of the FNG's. I guess things really turned out well for him. Now I feel like a complete S#!%bag for not staying in the military. Oh well, just thought I'd share the story.

Well, I tried the fixes suggested by Gunrunner, and it turns out they work. Thanks Gunrunner. To Caesar, I shoot an almost airline like approach. This time it was the plane and not the pilot. Thanks for the responses all!
