  1. Since it's just a brainstorming session for now, I was always fascinated by the RAF in Malta, and the location would be great for Southern Med flying... Even though the RAF has vacated the airfields, Malta still hosts a serious airshow, and the airport could handle military traffic in a "crisis". https://vassallohistory.wordpress.com/airfields/

  5. AMI - 2004 Power Plant strike in Denmark. We got this....right? SAMS fired at 4 miles, guns never fired until I was about 1 mile out. The target was hit, but the cost was high.
  6. My choice would be RAF Gibraltar. 2nd would be Lajes Field. I know it would require an enormous amount of work to either fit them into an existing terrain, or to create completely new ones.........................but you did ask. And I like to dream big.

  19. Belgian 4K. I love this plane. It was already a crappy morning when I left; dark, rainy, lots of people wanting to shoot at me. By the time we got back, conditions han't improved
  20. I was feeling like a Delta Dart mission, so a pair of us flew against some heathen interlopers....... Since dogfighting in a 106 is a recipe for suicide, the Genie is the perfect weapon to make short work of the threat.. But it IS a bit disconcerting to have it ignite and go flashing past you...

    Of the choices; Sopwith Camel. While it may not have been the best at any single thing, it had the best all around performance. With experience gained, could hold it's own in any fight.
