A lesser known source for older files is the Checksix library https://www.checksix-fr.com/bibliotheque/index.php Categorie - select S.F. Project 1 or WOE / WOV Type - select Avion (aircraft) or Skin etc to narrow down your search. Or leave it at "all" and click through the pages Most of the TMF releases up to a certain date should be available, and also the two official TW stand-alone releases - the F-104G and A-4F. -
Yaa its happening... all the changes to F-15C (many), some to the Hornet and even a few to the Tornado

China Asset Pack (CAP)
Crusader posted a topic in Digital Combat Simulator Series General Discussion
https://www.facebook.com/dekaironworksims/posts/330639224065881 Deka Ironwork Simulations added 15 new photos. September 29 at 7:36pm · This weekend, Deka Ironwork Simulation (DIS) in collaboration with Eagle Dynamics (ED) will be delighted to introduce the China Asset Pack (CAP). This project targets at bringing the modern Chinese assets/weapons into DCS world as AI units. Currently, the following units are confirmed: Aircrafts: J-11A (AI) [Completed] JF-17 "Thunder" (AI) [WIP] Ships: 052B Destoryer DDG-168 "Guangzhou" [Completed] 052C Destoryer DDG-171 "Haikou" [Almost Completed] 054A Frigate FFG-538 "Yantai" [Completed] Weapons: YJ-83 Anti-ship Missile [Completed] YJ-62 Anti-ship Missile [WIP] 9M317 Surface to Air Missile [Completed] HQ-16 Surface to Air Missile [Completed] HHQ-9 Surface to Air Missile [Completed] PL-5EII Air to Air Missile* [Completed] PL-8 Air to Air Missile [Completed] PL-12 Air to Air Missile* [Completed] WMD Multi-function Targeting Pod* [Completed] RKL609 ECM Pod [Completed] Pylons: AKU-170 Adapter for R-77 missile on J-11A [Completed] PF-12 Adapter for PL-12 missile* [WIP] *Launch platform JF-17 might not be included in initial release. CAP will be added to DCS World free of charge. Our future goal is to add more AI units into the package, although details and dates are still uncertain. During the development, we have received help from some players as they have provided the initial 3D model of three warships. With assistance from ED, the LOD, damage model, animations and model corrections are almost finished. We have also completed ships' weapon systems. Since it's a fan package for free, and the JF-17 developement needs to be focused on later, we may slow down the progress of adding other Chinese asset as AI. But if any of you are willing to help or contribute, that would be awesome and absolutely welcomed!- 1 reply

Taliban popping everywhere
Crusader replied to citizen67's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
Yes very bad when they are on the loose everywhere... The solution: Start your own loose runners containment operation ASAP !! Create a new folder named GroundObjects inside the Afghanistan terrain folder Move the runners into the new folder, don't forget the damage textures/destroyed lod Mission Accomplished! -

Interesting. Fingers crossed that type-specific avionics come true, one day. This would make BMS very interesting for me -

F-15 HUD symbology Is it now possible to make the airframe-specific HUD/avionics instead of having F-16 avionics everywhere ? -

A few small points (incomplete) to check on the Su-35: The cockpit is of the Su-27 series, not a Su-35. Also the Su-35S doesnt have "odd-rods" IFF antenna under the nose The model is missing the forward-facing RWR antennas relocated on the wing leading edges The chaff/flare dispensers are of a new type, holding 14 x 50mm cartridges, 2 outer rows of 5 and a center row of 4 The tailcone holds 2 additional downward-firing dispensers Tailplane underside forward area is titanium like on the top https://www.jetphotos.com/aircraft/Sukhoi+Su-35S below a selection https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/10726978 https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/10178857 https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/10234219 https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/10045785 https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/10662772 https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/10009284 -
SU- 27 Flanker

I will echo Cliff7600's post, it could be a misalignment (wrong orientation) of the XYZ axis of the pylons- 50 replies

The variant description on the linked page, I think they have missed to point out the new location of the forward-facing RWR antennas. Those are relocated to the leading edges of the wings.- 50 replies

Cyrano IVMR radar is specific to the F1CR, not installed in the EQ series. But all radar variants of the EQ series have terrain avoidance/anti-collision modes which are all not automatic (so not like in the A-6/F-111/Tornado) The Kh-29L modification was made with at least 2 EQ5 aircraft. Didnt see any combat usage. Combat operations were conducted with a pair of aircraft, an EQ5 for target designation and a Su-22M4 as shooter with Kh-29L The EQ6 is an EQ5 with following changes/enhancements: - new digital RWR - new radios - improved radar with SPI - Signal Processor Improvement with two Air-Surface modes (for targeting ships) - enhanced armament system with a default capability for mixed loads on the inner-wing stations (AS 30 L or AM 39 + tank) and a configuration of two AM 39 Exocet on the inner wing stations (includes new launcher pylons) Iraq received all but the last 4 of the 30 EQ6 on order. Seven of the delivered EQ6 were painted in the dark blue/white Super Etendard scheme.
