  1. Alright, you apes! Don't make me dilute you posts! Put a Rhino screenie up there!!! ------- as required; "out and over a wine dark sea"
  2. Man, that's AWESOME!!!!
  3. you're welcome!! only the LODs are locked up on cat 002. All the inis, skins (bmp, jpg) etc are readily available
  4. yeah, that's what I"m talking about. it's global
  5. Trying to ID a plane from a TV Show

    yup, that's a Tweet!
  6. look! A thumb self portrait!! (sorry Jordi, I just HAD too!!!)
  7. just extract them for (whichever) ObjectData cat their in, place them in the aircraft's folder and change the pilot figure from there. easy peasy
  8. are you running Air Defense = Heavy in the options? (off the main game menu)
  9. Trying to ID a plane from a TV Show

there was an article in either Aviation History or another magazine I get that had an article on USAF used F3Ds. I'll try and see if I can find it on the net (sure it wasn't a A/T-37 Tweet?)
  10. Calling Swambast!

Well, Volker said this was just from a few days ago, so he might be back???
  11. no, that's from a fuck up in the loadout and data inis. don't forget, all drop tanks are part of the main aircraft LOD, and if things dont match (outdated data ini for instance, or misnamed loadout) weird shit like this happens. Examples can be seen a lot, the most I've seen are on Intruders and Prowlers
  12. You mean this one?? (may have to fix the national markings)
  13. I KNOW Spinners has to have done this one already (at least a SOME point!!! ) But I was bored the other day, and needed to kill 15 minutes! 8 Kokutai, JASDF 1958 F-84F Thunderstreak
  14. jarek, there's nothing wrong with your files. it's an 'end user' issue that we've dealt with before
  15. probably from Major Lee; lost long before SF2 came out. He had stuff on his website on campaigns and more importantly (for me!) terrain building.
  16. neither of which (including GermanyCE, IsraelME) are set up with the REQUIRED colored CVBG/SAG zones as seen on the IcelandNA map. You can't just add "NavalMap=TRUE" to the main ini and expect it to work properly. see the attached IcelandNA_water.***. Please take note of the 2 green painted zones (green and that other green color). That is what defines the usable area for naval forces created by the coding in NA. So, in essence, they (the original 4 terrains) shouldn't be able to support naval operations ala NA. In some respects they do, if you don't mind 'the ships that sail over land and sea'. As to a speech pack altering coding in the terrain engine, I can't even begin to understand how that can happen.
  17. I d/led the AV-8B (first aircraft), all 5 parts. I had NO issues whatsoever in unzipping it. Perhaps, you might like to try taking my advice, from my 1st post, and try getting the MOST RECENT version of WinRAR?? Looking at the screen shot you posted, your menu isn't the same as the latest version (5.41). As I said before, there have been many members reporting issues, that have been cured by using the latest version. Also, can you try and put a little effort into using punctuation in you posts? It's almost impossible to try and decode what you're trying to say the screenshot below is from said WinRAR 5.41, and you can see the difference
  18. it's called 'cross decking'. and yes, they do. Royal Navy, French Navy, and the USN. Look it up!
  19. most likely, the maps you're flying over don't support carrier operations. they have to be built that way or modified to "fit" with the CVG coding from NA
  20. a link to the file would be helpful. can't give help if we don't know where to look. also, is you unzipper the most current? We've had several issues in the past year or so with folks using an outdated zip utillity
  21. hmmm..ok then! Well, when you need decals, I have many. Since it doesn't seem that angelp will be finished the 3 (or is it 4?) versions we'd started in the CAF forums. I also have books if you need them
  22. Considering the Mules where never painted in 2-tone.....and never used that style of 3 digit (and they were out of service by 1950, before the blue/tan arrived). They were hated and crashed a lot All original IDFAF birds used the "dalet", "period" then numbers. You should only use the decals I made for it, as seen in the 2nd image.
  23. so, d/l it and ship it via PM??? we want more things to blow up!!!
  24. Russ has a late model A3D????
