  1. yes, but all the stock 3W Navy birds -US/FAA have the landing speed entry. So, I'm assuming (oh!! that word!!) it's required hmm...flaps... since it's Fubar F86F flight model....
  2. sounds like a user install error ( ) cat pointer incorrect maybe??? As expected, mine all work perfectly. Rule of Thumbe: if missing terrain objects (buildings, runways, etc), you cat pointer is wrong there HAVE been some extreme oddities of late (since march/may/june/july 12 patchs) of aircraft starting at the wall. even I get that once in a while. that's because it is
  3. not possible you'd need a new model (lod) with the items already built in. vertical distance in NOT adustable in terrains
  4. File Name: SF2 Soviet Transport and AWAC Aircraft by Veltro2K File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 04 May 2013 File Category: Other SF2 Soviet Transport and AWAC Aircraft by Veltro2K = For SF2, Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED! = This is a Re-release of the Veltro2k's Soviet/WarPac Transport and AWAC aircraft. It is REQUIRED that you have SF2NA in your merged install, as several of these reference the stock 3W Tu-95 Bear destroyed model. Some reference the stock 3W An-12 destroyed model. Hence, the need for a Full 5 Merged install. It is usable without, but you won't have the dead wreckage on the ground. Also, the AWAC versions use the "AEW" avionics coding from SF2NA. Included in the pak are remods of: An-22 Cock A-50 Mainstay AWAC IL-76 Candid Tu-114 Cleat (Aeroflot airliner) Tu-126 Moss AWAC Aircraft that were exported have userlist inis included (ie: the Il-76). Any that I missed, End Users ™ are encouraged to 'fill in the blanks', and post those changes. All avionics, in particular for the AWACs, have been brought up SF2NA standards at the July 2012 patch level. New sounds for the prop engines are included. Although cockpits ARE included for all aircraft, really people...let the AI handle them. They exist for 2 reasons: eye candy and targets. Skins remain in their bmp format, and decal radomization is set to TRUE. All decals reference stock markings, including the Bort numbers. New damage textures are supplied, in DDS format. As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, give the "Note" section a read, in particular on operational usage. The Legal Statement has been changed with regards to these aircraft. For those that still have the original releases, as there HAVE been changes and additions in several of the inis, you may wish to examine them, mostly in respect to SF2NA, you may wish to replace the originals with these. **These aircraft herein are released in "AS IS" Condition. Any and all issues/problems that cannot be solved via ini edits will exist forever, as new models are unlikely to be created**. Happy Landings! wrench kevin stein Click here to download this file

Central America Terrain for SF2 - For SF2, Any & All (Full-4/5 Merged Reccomended*) This terrain covers the area from Belize, down to Columbia, centered on the Panama Canal. Some regions are a bit truncated (eastern El Salvador), and some areas are not targeted. This terrain does =NOT= have the SF2NA "NavalMap" statement activated in any inis. It is designed =ONLY= for ground-based air forces. It is highly suggested it remain as such. However, the _water.bmp does have 2 "Blue Side" coded carrier stations, one in the Pacific and one in the Caribean. Again, its not reccomended for CV usage; as once the "NavalMap=TRUE" is activated, all USMC carrier-capable aircraft will now ONLY fly from The Boat. The LimitedNations statement is set to TRUE, allowing only for 'regional powers' (with a few exceptions). Many of the included GroundObjects you may already have -- install them anyway. A majority of them have had the "issuing" user nations corrected, and the appropriate UserList created. The included Ships have also been updated as per SF2NA. Geophysical Disclaimer: some rivers and other water features may not follow their Real Life ™ courses, or be placed in their Real Life ™ locations. Several cities and other physical features may also fall into that classification. However, 2 Easter Eggs are emplaced on the map. You should be able to guess where, and what they are. As always, unzip this to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions. It's reccomended you read the document through after unzipping, but before installing. As always, the Notes and Other Nonesense section may make for entertaining reading. Please also read the New Standard discalimer, as it's been changed slightly. Happy Sightseeing! wrench kevin stein *Full-5 reccomended if one activates the Carrier Zones - NOT reccomended*
  8. not the backfire, as those are stock. he also dis some bears, but they're not going for re-release but if I had the Midas... I would. wasn't in my archive (so... please pm it to me!! or release it as you have it!!)
  9. nope 'remove component trick' dosen't work on groun dobjects ... I've alredy tried in essence, a complety NEW model would be needed
  10. they're in the IcelandNA.cat, and iirc, are in jpg format
  11. iirc, it was a JASDF 767 AWAC allen, I'm missing the Tu-126 Moss from my archives!! If anyone has it....either upload or pm it to me
  12. Something I forgot in the readme for the "major Easter Egg", a screenshot MUST be posted of it, when found. In either the WW2 screenie thread, or the regular SF2 screenie thread (preferably both forums!)
  13. Veltro was working on a sunderland a year or 2 back... DAT's got some flying boats note to self: reissue Veltro's Catalilna
  14. wouldn't that cause more probems?? all them craters to fill in.... actually, I have to finish the NEW FJ-3M Fury (thank you Russo!!), get back to decaling -and bugging Veltro for LOD fixes- for the B-17F, annoy Coupi on how the Me-262 is doing, Cocas for the new Spit mk V (and WILL need help in painting it... I suck at camo pattern matching!!) and... and... and... and... personally, I have no interest in the Winter War scenario. But I will give advice to those that wish to make the needed fixes as to dragons ... don't tempt me....(easy to add that text to the planning maps!! )
  15. the WW2 version (as in "Sink the Bismark") was sunk 1941 so, post war is new build
  16. I was just looking at that yesturday ... I know EXACTLY where they'd go. But, due to the screwy height field, and no Upkeep bomb (and the fact you can't 'skip' a bomb -on land or water-) chose not to add them. And dams are somewhat difficult to place (read: KAW terrain) sounds like somebody else got this month's edition of "Aviation History" magazine...
  17. and Front Lines can't be moved via editing of the Movement.ini??? targetin, with regards to Sweden, is easy ... edit targets ini so all "stuff" in sweden is NEUTRAL. airfields are always an issue ... as NO real WW2 style bases exist. AND you still need to flatten the airfield zone, even in NOT using any of the runway**.lods
  18. no the SF2 KAW is SPECIFICALLY designed for SF2, in particular, with SF2NA as the "base" to create the install from it is not designed for 1stGen in any way, shape or from sorry

SF2 WW2 ETO Bf-109E-7 Jabo by RussoUK -- Something for the WW2 ETO players -- = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) = *This mod may =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs at any patch level, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment. Those that wish to try, do so at their own risk.* This is a complete aircraft with (just) about all the fixings... This mod represents Bf-109E-7s in the West (France based) during the 1940-41 time frame. The skin/decals are "representative" of 6(S)LG2 Jabo. The skin is in jpg format, and decal randomization is TRUE. Unlike most Luftwaffe JGs, the ground attack units (Schlachtgruppen) used letters instead of numbers. You have 18 letters. Included are Sounds, weapons, in this case the AB-50 Frag/Cluster unit (minus standard LW bombs -which you should already have, along with the Guns), the ETC50 4-bomb MER, the drop tank and pilot figure, as well as new SF2 style hangar and loading screens (in jpg format) The canopy operates on the standard animation keystroke ™ Shift/0. As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Full credits are listed below the Notes. Happy Hunting! wrench kevin stein
