  1. File Name: EF-4C Phantom Wild Weasel IV for SF2 File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 27 December 2010 File Category: F-4 EF-4C Phantom II (Wild Weasel IV) -- For FULL-4 Merged SF2 (Prefered) and/or SF2:V =ONLY=!!! First off, it should be stated that =ANY= of the SF2 series that have the F-4C_67 in their aircraft list, will be able to use this mod. Check your in-game player-flyable list to be certain. This is a semi-major overhaul of the EF-4C as released in 2004, based off the stock F-4C. THIS version uses the stock SF2/2V, etc, F-4C_67 version and accomplishes pretty much the same thing. Almost all decals are from the original version by Crab02, etal. The only new decal is the tailcode/fin color flash, and that one is based of a stock F4SqTail from 3rdWire, redrawn to add the proper squadron ZG code. Loadouts are all stock items, so no weapons pak is even required. The canopy is activated via an animation key; use Shift/0 to open and close. Mission statement have been reduced to "SEAD" and "RECON" (although, for a specalized, high value aircraft like this, even RECON is suspect). I was unable to find more information as to if the EF-4Cs were use for anything other than SEAD (unlike the F-105F/Gs, that were sometimes used for regular STRIKE missions) As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install. Wrench Kevin Stein Click here to download this file
  2. File Name: SF2 WW2 DH Mosquito NF.II Pak File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 10 April 2013 File Category: Mosquito SF2 WW2 DH Mosquito NF.II Pak -- Something for the WW2 ETO/MTO players -- = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged ( Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) = *There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, not all features will be avaliable.* Mods to Pasko's Mosquito (and of my NF.XII), create the eariler NightFighter/Intruder version, in this case, the NF.II. Like the other Mossies I've re-released, a new (mostly) SF2 compliant FM was created. As per usual, fine tuning of the FM by experts is requested. Sounds, pilot figures -including the FakePilot and Radar 'bow & arrow" antennas- and weapons (ok, the drop tanks) are included, as is a new SF2 "Box Art" style Hangar screen. Skins/Decals included in this set are: No.157 Squadron, in overall "Night" circa 1942 No.141 Squadron, in 1943-ish Sea Gray/Dark Green, Night unders As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, as mentioned, the "Notes" section for other stuff of interest. *This mod is being released in an "as is" condition; PLEASE see the Notes section for more info. Also, take note the Legal Notice has had a small modification.* Happy Hunting! wrench kevin stein Click here to download this file

SF2 WW2 ETO Boulton Paul Defiant Remod Pak -- Something for the WW2 ETO players -- = For SF2 ONLY, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) = This is a reissue of Veltro2K's Defiant 'turret fighter'. It has been reskinned/redecaled and had some tweeking done. The skin is in jpg format, and has all new plane-in-group letter and serial numbers (historically acurate for Defiant Mk.1s, but representative of no particular unit). The squadron code represent No. 264 Squadron. There are some issues with this skin, as I couldn't quite figure out the mapping at the rear fuselage camo/sky unders parting line. To that end, the Home Grown ™ template is included for any another skinners wishing to give it a try. Engine sounds, pilot figures, BRAND new Hangar and Loading screens (in SF2 jpg format) are included. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for the change list, and other important notations. Also, the Legal Statement has been changed with regards to this aircraft. For those that still have the original releases, you may wish delete the aircraft and decals folders for them; this pak is desinged to replace them in total. **These aircraft herein are released in "AS IS" Condition. The source files have been lost, and there can and WILL be no modifications to the physical model. They 'are as they is' and you must accept them with this caveat in mind. Any and all issues/problems that cannot be solved via ini edits will exist forever, as new models are unlikely to be created** Good Luck!! wrench kevin stein
  10. yes, indeed they are...!!! (it's still a frakking death trap though!) ================================== I added this to the Fuselage section: SystemName[012]=DummyGun adjusted the turret yaw [TurretGunner] SystemType=GUNNER_STATION PilotModelName= SeatID=2 GunnerID=1 Position=-0.0000,-1.6278,0.8142 PitchModelNodeName=gunbase YawModelNodeName=Turret GunRange=1100 PitchAngleRate=25 MaxPitch=60 MinPitch=10 DefaultPitchAngle=28 YawLimited=FALSE YawAngleRate=25 MaxYaw=250 MinYaw=250 DefaultYawAngle=180 MinExtentPosition=-0.3,-1.2,0.3 MaxExtentPosition= 0.3,-2.2,1.3 HasArmor=TRUE ArmorMaterial=STEEL Armor[REAR].Thickness=9 locaiton on wing for fake gun: [DummyGun] SystemType=FIXED_GUN GunTypeName=303D InputName=FIRE_PRIMARY_GUN MuzzlePosition=1.54,2.0,-0.46 AimAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0 MaxAmmo=400 EjectShells=FALSE EjectPosition=1.54,0.40,-0.7 EjectVelocity=0.0,0.0.-0.2 and the fake gun itself (or use what you have and rename in the statement above) This is one of those "well, I'll be dipped in s**t" moments; when we actually outsmart the game engine
  11. i'd have added a the dummy gun just one wing (like the Battle) or down the prop centerlline, like the 109s but they're engaging now?
  12. my Fw-190 pak has the pylons from the T-28, used for bombs and drop tanks (along wih the zeke, george, oscars and several others)
  13. pitchdamper= ???? maybe ???? as to plyons, there are plenty of 'fake pilot' pylons lying around ... both 'bomb type' and 'missile type'.
  14. File Name: SF2 Q/A-5 Fantan Pak File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 20 February 2012 File Category: Q/A-5 Fantan Q-5 Fantan Series Pak = For SF2, Any and All* = *Note: Full-4 Merged reccomended, but can be used in any game with access to the F-4F Phantom from SF2:E* A new skin/decal pak for the Q/A-5 Fantan series, upgraded for SF2. This package is based off lindr2's work for 1stGen, which in turn is/was based off the Insky release, with some modifications/tweeks/fiddling around and general 'messing with' to bring it more in line with SF2 This is a complete package, of 3 aircraft containing various and sundry cockpits - Remember!!! you must have a Full-4 Merged, or at least acess to SF2:Es BLW F-4F Phantom, as the Q-5II references that cockpit. All other pits are included. Rebuilt data inis use the latest (Nov 2011) MiG-19 FM; while not perfect, work much better than before. A new userlist ini is included, for all models, regardless of A or Q naming. They're still Fantans, no matter what. Some name changes have been implemented by me; what was called the D is more closer to the A, so you have the following aircraft, keeping their PLAAF designation, regardles of export status Q-5A Q-5E (called Q-5D/E/F in the displayed name -they're nearly identical) Q-5II The original skins, of course, are included, as is a NEW Sudan AF for the Q-5E. New serial numbers for the SuAf are 'best guess' based upon the 2 photos I could find (SuAF shown in the screenie above) of them. New DDS damage textures are included, but they don't work as advertised. It's your choice to use them or not (turns the aircraft black for some reason -probably a mapping issue) A 'home grown' template for A/D/E/F series is included for skinner. PLAFF weapons, for the most part, are included, as are the pilots & ejection seats. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them! As well as the "Notes" section Any/All faults, mistakes, etc are mine & mine alone. Happy Landings! wrench kevin stein Click here to download this file
  15. I didn't know that at the time of release; thanks for the correction!!
  16. yup and an SF2 version of the A-4L is the /Downloads/Aircraft. A complete pak, with all the bits (even the top anti-colision light has been moved to the top of the hump) http://combatace.com/files/file/12236-a-4l-skyhawk-by-crab-02-column5/
  17. the night shift clocks in....
  18. deleteing files

you can't Only moderating staff can do so you can, however, upload a newer version -- there's a button for that -- and it'll replace the pre-existing one.
  19. if you dudes fix it, upload the 'repaired' data ini and any other parts needed
  20. how did you build your Korea game set up? Did you just drop the terrain into SF1 or create a new game install? If you creaed a new one, you MUST have the Desert terrain folder INSIDE the main Terrain subfolder, otherwise the cat pointer line will NOT work, as it's got nothing to reference from you know, you CAN use the SF2 KAW terrain in 1stGens ... it's less than 2 minutes work editing the main ini to backdate the shaders (or lack thereof) for the 08 level SF/Wo*
