  1. in no particular order of re-release... catalina condor br693 pz630 b-26 marauder (after building new template and reskinning) maybe the whirlwind ... as a bonus, the Catalina pak will contain pappychksix's templates all with the same caveats as the others i've been putting out screenie: condor with new KG40 codes and 'world in a ring' badge decals
  2. there ain't none. and... but you wait a few weeks, the EAW Euro terrain will be rereleased with lots of changes (unfortunately, with the same tileset --) but changes nonetheless the BoB terrain has many faults, a majority of which I can't fix. Tiling and height field issues that 3 (and i'm talking 3 SOLID 18 hour days) could't resovle
  3. removed, as was a lot of other stuff i've reworked it, but, a kinda broke a bunch of stuff on it, and had to start over. Longs way's off for a 'remod/re-release' had things gone well, I'd have posted the screenie below with the caption " ... shall reap the Whirlwind"
  4. don't forget to put in the readme that I gave my OK ... just so the Admins are cool with it!! (there's a notification in the uploads instruction here to that effect) i'm looking forward to seeing what these changes look like close up!
  5. cool! the destroyed model is one of the most overlooked items ... nobody does them and we're a bit on the shot side of them!
  6. check the airfield inis ...and the targets.ini they should call for Desert_airfiled***.ini (numbered 1-6) [TargetArea024] Name=Clark Field 1 Position=298000.000000,785000.000000 Radius=4242.640625 ActiveYear=0 LOCATION=2 Alignment=ENEMY AirfieldDataFile=desert_airfield5.ini NumSquadrons=4 Target[001].Type=Runway5 they should match each other. that's the only thing I know that'll screwup aircraft facing edit: IJAAF use the Sentai tag yup, that looks like my latest water bmp. single missions for naval aircraft (carrierbased=true) all start on the boat?

  8. now, I don't know diddtly about campaign building, but... planes starting in the same spot means a defective airfield ini (not correct for that airfield, an/or not updated to sf2 standards) do you have the correct _water.bmp for the ww2 PI map? should generate the carrier properly (methinks) also, Essex CVs are classed as "small" airfields (check their data ini) none of those AAA units are "mobile AAA" - they're all static AAA (and placed via the "AAA" tag in the targets.ini) IJN and IJAAF squadrons didn't use the */*** tag like luftwaffe units .. they are just what they are; 251 kokutau, etc Bearcats never arrived in theatre until early 1946 as to base areas, iirc, NA generates them via the _water.bmp with the correctly color coded CV zones LOVE the "Ichikichi" detatchment!!! (somebody knows their classic 3 stooges!!) if you need an (almost!) historically correct _water.bmp, let me know!

    SF2 WW2 French Fighters Pak = For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged RECCOMENDED!) **Note: due to the extensive modifications to the cockpit and data ini, this mod will absolutely -NOT- work in 06 level 1stGen game installs. 08 Level 1stGens may have some issues, but this has not/cannot be tested by me.** *Notex2: this package is a little on the heavy side, due to the inclusion of the skin templates for both aircraft* This pak contains a reissue of Veltro2K's WW2 French Air Force (Armée de l'Air) fighter aircraft. These are the complete aircraft, with various/sundry changes. This pak contains: (Note: the D.520 has been split into AdA and Vichy "Nationalized" useaircraft, in essence, 2 different birds) Morane-Saulnier MS.406 GC 1/2 (BoF timeframe) Dewoitine D-520 (AdA) 4 CG II/7 (BoF timeframe) Dewoitine D.520 (Vichy)* GC III/3, North Africa (a bit 'generic' in nature- vichy) GC II/3, Syria 1941 (Vichy French AF -vichy1) *(This is the nationalized version. The aircraft folder is called D-520_V, and will display "Dewoitine D.520 (Vichy)" on the aircraft selection dropdown menu) **Note: the Vichy D.520 resides in a seperate folder called "z--Vichy for MTO Installs". It is structured EXACTLY like the others, but without the Sounds, Pilots, Guns sub-folders. You will have to copy these twice*** Skins are in jpg format, and were created from a (patent pending) Home Grown Template ™. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. Some new decals were created, and NO pretense of historicality is to be confered) on them (see Note below). Damage textures are in DDS format. BOTH templates are included for use by other skinners. Improvements/corrections are WELCOMED! Weapons (ok, the French guns) are included. All the 1stGen Hangar and Loading screens were either rebuilt to SF2-spec, or created new for this package. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for the change list, and other important notations. Also, the Legal Statement has been changed with regards to these aircraft. For those that still have the original releases, it's advised you delete the aircraft and decals folders for them; this pak is desinged to replace them in total. **These aircraft herein are released in "AS IS" Condition. The source files have been lost, and there can and WILL be no modifications to the physical model. They 'are as they is' and you must accept them with this caveat in mind.   14. cool! I can find a use! there are some old ones in the EAW Euro WW2 map; I'll have to locate them and compare. Be nice to actually have them working (ala cruisemissle NA profiles ...hmmm......light bulb!!!!) is that Hanna Reitsch in the cockpit????
  15. don't forget the Mk.13 is an AMERICAN weapon, so should ONLY be available on Allied aircraft. there should be a German Trop available for use ETO/MTO Axis use (W_Germany attactment type) for heinkels and sparrowhawks. the IJN has it's own, too Type something-or-other for the Kates, Jills, Betty and Nell edit: wepons folder is called "German Torpedo" Type91_Torpedo for the japanese also, if using SF2NA as the mods folder base, you may need to add "NAVAL_STRIKE" or "CRUISE_MISSILE" to the mission tasking. Of course, this means the torps have to modified to BE cruise missles, which opens up, yet another, can of worms. and all the bs that creates... *note- naval_strike can be used for standard dumb bombs attack profile

  19. what aircraft? torps are NOT standard weapons, per se on the torp station you should have EOGR as the "AllowedWeaponsClass"
  20. would have been better to use decals for the mid-fues squadron badges .. the positions are well documented as to serial numbers, joe baugher's site would probabaly have them (both USAF and HAF) reseach, my son, it's all about research!!
  21. well, as the DAT HU-16 is designed to be AI only, and prolly in a relative Beta state, i'd say there's nothing to be done about it. of course, any requests for fixes to DAT birds, has to be done ONLY on their site, as they don't/can't come here (long sad story, that will NOT be retold). My guess would be "world center" issues as to seaborne operations, the game don't support it. not really. there were some cheats for 06/08 1stGens, that seem to not work anymore in SF2
  22. extract one of the STOCK user list inis, say for the Mig-21MF, and you'll how it's set up. follow that pattern EXACTLY ... and you'll have to look up the flanker to find which nations got it, when they got it, and when they got rid of it.
