  2. File Name: SF2 WW2 ETO P-47D Razorback Pak File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 19 January 2013 File Category: P-47 SF2 WW2 ETO P-47D Razorback Pak -- Something for the WW2 ETO players -- = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) = *There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However due to the excessive modifications made to fit into the SF2 environment, not all features will be avaliable.* *Note X2: this mod is designed for use =ONLY= in the ETO envrionment. Specific versions for use in the MTO will be released seperately, when required (and available!)* Mods to Wolf257's P-47D Razorback Thunderbolt. This package "represents" mid production (-20) Razorback Jugs from the mid war to the end of the war time frame. This is a FULL aircraft pak, designed to REPLACE any others you may have (of Wolf's), with (pretty much) all the trimmings. This pack contains the following skin/decal sets: 61st FS, 56th FG 334th FS, 4th FG Decal randomization is TRUE, and the NEW skin is in Jpg format. Nose arts are included, and are 98.6% historically accurate for both sets. Weapons, pilot figure, and engine sound are included. A New 'box art' style Hangar, now fully SF2 compliant, is included for your viewing pleasure. Any changes that have been introduced, are listed in the 'ChangeLog', in the "Notes" section. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Wolfs original readmes, when discoverable, are included for historical purposes. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Please READ the 'To Install" section after unzipping, but BEFORE installing for an important note about possible conflicts with other Jug mods. 9. File Name: SF2 WW2 Fi-156 Storch Tweeks Pak File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 18 January 2013 File Category: Other SF2 WW2 Fi-156 Storch Tweeks Pak -- Something for the WW2 players -- = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) = *There is a distinct possibility that this mod will work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs at the 08 Patch Level. However, due to some of the modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment (read: cockpit tweeks, data ini tweek, destroyed model), all the features will =NOT= be working as designed.* Some modificationa, tweeks, reskins and so forth for Raven's very cool little Stroch, create an SF2-ish version. (although it needed very little work!!). As stated above it will probably work in SF/Wo* game install at the 08 Patch level. As the cockpit uses the "open cockpit" statement, it may not work in 06 levels. I don't remember if that statement is active in those earlier versions. Basically, I've added a working cockpit, with extensive modifications to allow you 'see' the internal structure of the framing and such. The cockpit comes from my L-19/O-1E mod, which is in itself a mod of Kesselbrut Yak-3/9 cockpit. Through use of moves and Hides, along with metric conversion of the gauge readout, makes this a fun plane for sightseeing! And a new pilot figure and engine sound, too. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them BEFORE installing this mod!!!. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. 10. Helldivers from VB-7, USS Hancock out looking for trouble!!
  11. bummer! didn't think so. I know that coding came out with FE. since I don't have any 06's left (and only one 08 install...) I had no real way of testing that. sorry brother!! It's REALLY fun to fly this burd!! so...what's it gonna take to bring you over the "Dark Side" of SF2!!???? Your work is outstanding (love the Hurris!!)
  12. templates....we need templates!!! we also need that 3-tone skin too!!! I'll have some tweeks for it next week (hangar/loading screens, skin/decals...) just some easy ones.

  14. (cough) Faster Take Off Mod (cough)
  15. try the AvHistory WW2 sounds, and see if there's a difference. the only sound issues I've ever experienced -and this is with ALL aircraft regardless of era- is the occaisonal engine sounds disappearing. It's been doing that for severla years; and I'm not the only one reporting it. They come right back after you pause and unpause the game. you've never said which particular aircraft have the issue (the who built them kinda thing) out of curiosity, what is the /Sound folder called? in SF2 is should be Sounds (plural)
  16. from the Main Screen.... Options --> Graphics more things there to turn on/off; setting and such
  17. quad core; no question AND a HUGE vid card!
  18. assumption could be made that you're looking more for a Balkans terrain, then Italy and the Med. Such a terrain, unfortunately, dosen't exist. Although, I do know that there were 2 in the works that covered the region; one started by C5 and another (iirc) by Baltika
  19. smal correction: in the data ini, it should read Nazi Germany for the nation. that's how we've got it listed in the WW2 nations.ini
  20. so, no sound work at all?? even on the stock jets? Or those work ok??
  21. maybe someday we can talk you into creating the Claw for us!! Animation should be easy ... the wings stay still and body flaps up and down!!!
  22. the Libya map contains Sicily and the 'toe of the boot" the WW2 Tunisia map contains Sicily and Italy as far north as Rome (which is juuussssst inside The Wall - or was until TK lock the 'expanding borders trick' Don't know if it's accessble now)
  23. nope, the RPM in the ENGINE sections really don't do all that much (although, some engine wavs WILL pitch up under full power) the SOUNDS section of the data ini is the only control for what sound is tied to what event [sound] EngineSoundName=WW2_Engine_US_Allision_V1710 AfterburnerSoundName= DamagedEngineSoundName= FlapsSoundName=Flaps AirbrakesSoundName=Airbrakes GearsSoundName=Gear having a seperate WW2 mods folder (although this is MORE than highly reccomended!!!) has nothing to do with it. I'd start checking my sound card for newer drivers. Kinda hard to make a diagnosis without system specs
  24. for what mod group's aircraft are they for??? Wolfs? DAT? MontyCZ??? TMF?? That's just as important; as many people can't get the aircraft produced by the DAT. Definately check on the permissions ... we're VERY strict about that here a CA (unless they're BY a SF/SF2 modder, that has signed the Freeware Accord)
  25. or the aformentioned Zipper or even the (overused) A-4E. just need something with the CRT, maybe an RWR and windshield framing that's a fairly close match personally, I think this thread belongs in the "What If..." forum ... the Hun had very much reached it's expandability potential with the D, and had always been designed as a 'clear weather' aircraft, with viturally NO night or 'all weather' capabilities. There was just no more room for growth. Why do you thing the Bullpud was the most sophisticated weapon it could carry? it didn't need much electronics for guidance ... just a radio transmitter and a steering stick. Adding LGBs...well, that's my opinon. Why not just use the Rhino? Got everything already in place
