  1. unfortunately, ArmorDave lost the max files in a move about 6-7 years ago. He hasn't posted in any SF forum for several (3-5) years now It is, unfortunately, what it is.
  2. File Name: SF2 WW2 ETO Spitfire 9C, 411 Squadron Skin Pak File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 11 January 2013 File Category: Spitfire SF2 WW2 ETO Spitfire 9C, 411 Squadron Skin Pak -- Something for the WW2 ETO players -- = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) = **SF2:E Expansion Pak 2 REQUIRED to have the Spitfire 9c** A reskinning of the stock 3W Spit 9C to 411 "City of York" Squadron RCAF during WW2 in Western Europe. Skins remain in their 'lorez' 512 size, and are still in bmp format. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. All marking on the aircraft, excepting the Sky fuselage band are decals. This will make it exceptionally easy for skinners to create other RAF squadrons of this time period. Included are modified data and loadout inis. See 'changes' in the Notes section for full listing. And, for you viewing pleasure, brand NEW Hangar and Loading screens. The assumption (oh! that word!!) is being made that you've already made the aircraft player flyable, so no cockpit bits are included. Neither is my "One Click Restore Main Ini" (patent pending). The canopy has been activated via the Standard Animation Keystroke ™, Shift/0 No weapons or pilot figures are included; you should have them already. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. 3. NOTE! I goofed on the engine sound, so I'd reccomend downloading the AvHistory Sounds Pak http://combatace.com...-engine-sounds/ and switch to GregoryP's BR_Merlin sound ... its MUCH better!! the upcoming LF 9e will be using that sound (sounds good on both TKs and Wolf's Mustangs, too!!) ----------------------------------------- also, forgot the data ini predated the WEP addition.. so, copy/paste the stuff below over the ENTIRE engine section:
  4. you may think so, but I think they work QUITE well (ok, some insturments need to be working, but overall, they super green!!!)

  6. AT-6G Texan "Mosquito FAC"

    Version

    544 downloads

North American AT-6G "Mosquito FAC" for SF/SFG/WoV/WoE/WoI, Post 08 Patch Level and probably SF2/SF2:V This is a mod of Bunyap's little T-6 Texan trainer into the AT-6G as used during the Korean War as the "Mosquito FAC" This is a COMPLETE aircraft mod, with all the trimmings. There have been extensive edits to the data, loadout inis and a "new" cockpit. It is designed for use in the post 08 patch envrionments; in fact a couple of edits WON'T work without being in post 08 patch (movable rudder lights, fer example) It has been totally reskined in a Natural Metal, more of a generic than any particular squadron, with all new Buzz Number and accurate Serial Numbers. I say 'accurate', as they ARE for AT-6G, but not from any particular squadron. All the weapons supplied have been updated for this late game usage, and are supplied in the new 'folder style'. For SF2/SF2V users, a data ini for each weapon is included in each folder. (note: most of these propably already exist in the SF2 weapons pak. PLEASE check before installing, AND note the T-6_30cal_GunPod has been edited to make the guns shoot in the right direction) A new blade-type upper antenna, with repositioned pitot tube, and set for use as a 'fake pilot' seat is also included (thanks to Ravenclaw!!). This is also usable for other nations that used the AT-6G in the COIN or FAC roles. New Hangar Screen, in the WoE style, allowing it's use in all the Classic Series ™ and SF2/2:V and a new Loading Screen are also provided. As always, unzip this to a temp folder somwhere, and you'll have access to the rest of the readme for it's instructions. Enjoy! Wrench Kevin Stein ps: yes, I know the anti-glare panel is 'off' in the screenie above; it has bee fixed. I was just too lazy to take another screenie!
  7. This cracked me up!

OMG!!! that is facking awesome! my wife works for an accounting firm, and it's starting to be 'tax time' here in the states.. She HAS to see this!!
  8. out of curiosity, amariani, what patch level are you on? I seem to (vaguely) recally there being a decal issue on the Spits about this time last year, that one or another of the later patchs may have fixed. as you can see below, 4 different decals on 2 different meshs work fine! (had to make a couple of new ones to replace the old style Let/Let/Roundel, and add the Sky fues band) oh, and fixed the pilot so his shoulder don't stick out the right canopy rail

  12. if you want to update the pods/internals .. I say Go Fer It!!!
  13. WoV lacks pretty much everything you'll need it was designed for use ONLY from SF (needs the desert terrain for cat references)
  14. File Name: B-24J Liberator (Pasko), Indian Air Force, Ver.2 File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 06 August 2011 File Category: B-24 Consolidated B-24J, Indian Air Force ver.2 For SF2, Full-5 Merged (with Expansion Pak 1 Reccomended, for bombs) This is Version 2.0 of Pasko's B-24J "Liberator", to recreate those as rebuilt for use by the Indian Air Force. Designed for use with in India/Pakistan stand-alone install. This version is designed to REPLACE the version originally released in 2011 for the Indo-Pak mod. A brand new skin, in jpg format, from my (finally!) completed Home Grown template ™. The decals are 100% historically accurate for the serial numbers. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. Flight model, while somewhat tweeked by me is "OK", for a heavy bomber. However it NEEDS to be completly gone through by an FM Guru, as there are many 'issues'. It is NOT advised that is be used by the player, but to let the AI control it. Some data ini tweeks remove some of the guns, and the lower ball turret, and convert it to a surface-search radar dome (ASV), via the FakePilot method. A new avionics ini is included. Be advised, there is NO radar display in the cockpit .. in Real Life ™ this would have been (probably) in the radio compartment, aft of the bomb bays. All lighting positions have been corrected, and where necessary, new ones added to their proper places. The weapons loadout makes use of the stock, Expansion Pak 1 M57 & M64 WW2 era bombs. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... Of course, the expected "Notes" section with comments, suggestions, and whatnots. Be in one's own best interest to read them. Happy Landings! wrench kevin stein changelog: version 2.0 uploaded 1/10/2013 Click here to download this file

However due to the excessive modifications made to fit into the SF2 environment, not all features will be avaliable.* *Note X2: this mod is designed for use =ONLY= in the ETO envrionment.* Mods, rebuilds, reskining/redecaling for Wolf's FW-190. This is the next of a series of FW-190 upgrades, that will cover those models (while still based off Wolf's original LOD), that were/are available from the 1stGen SF/Wo* mods previously released. With required upgrades for SF2. This mod is designed to REPLACE any 1stGen variant you may have in your WW2 ETO/MTO intalls. It is reccomended you delete the aircraft and decals folders of the originals, as to NOT cause any conflicts with THIS mod. This package contains 2 variants of the FW-190F as deployed in Western/Southern Europe, and North Africa/Med regions. Skins/Decals in this pak are: 9/SG4 (Western Europe, crica 1944) I-SG4 (MTO desert camo, as based on Sardinia) *Please note, you should =NOT= mix/match the ETO and MTO skins in an ETO only install (or MTO only install). See 'Special Install Notes' for further instructions* All Skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. A (semi) compliant SF2 FM was cobbled together from various sources. As always, while it works quite well, further fine tuning is required by Experten. Sounds, pilot figures and weapons are included, as well a new SF2 version of my "box art" Hangar and/or Loading screens. 19. June, 1946..somewhere over Occupied Europe... (not a true What If... they were tested on the 190s)
  20. iirc, it's a 'virtual' hook. there was something in AD orignal readme, but I can't seem to find it! edit: okk, the hood itsefl is NOT animated at all (and it's not like we really need it ... none of the 3W runways have the emergency arresting gear) however, if one hits the "H" key to deply it... something interestering happens (and this is not listed ANYWHERE in the data ini!!!) the AFR probe deploys!!! hey, that's kinda neat! edit: ok that 's the EF 105 and 105F only with probes... the 105G don't work edit x3 .. to make the probe work, change ARRESTOR to ARRESTER. wieird s**t!!
  21. another thing... since we don't actually HAVE a destroyed model for the Stuka, this is what I've been using: DestroyedModel=Bf109FDest.LOD DestroyedEffect=VehicleFireEffect it's kinda close enough for wrecked & burning bird the destroyed lods are somewhere in the SF2 downloads section.
