  1. WoV lacks pretty much everything you'll need it was designed for use ONLY from SF (needs the desert terrain for cat references)

File Name: B-24J Liberator (Pasko), Indian Air Force, Ver.2 File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 06 August 2011 File Category: B-24 Consolidated B-24J, Indian Air Force ver.2 For SF2, Full-5 Merged (with Expansion Pak 1 Reccomended, for bombs) This is Version 2.0 of Pasko's B-24J "Liberator", to recreate those as rebuilt for use by the Indian Air Force. Designed for use with in India/Pakistan stand-alone install. This version is designed to REPLACE the version originally released in 2011 for the Indo-Pak mod. A brand new skin, in jpg format, from my (finally!) completed Home Grown template ™. The decals are 100% historically accurate for the serial numbers. Decal randomization is set to TRUE. Flight model, while somewhat tweeked by me is "OK", for a heavy bomber. However it NEEDS to be completly gone through by an FM Guru, as there are many 'issues'. It is NOT advised that is be used by the player, but to let the AI control it. Some data ini tweeks remove some of the guns, and the lower ball turret, and convert it to a surface-search radar dome (ASV), via the FakePilot method. A new avionics ini is included. Be advised, there is NO radar display in the cockpit .. in Real Life ™ this would have been (probably) in the radio compartment, aft of the bomb bays. All lighting positions have been corrected, and where necessary, new ones added to their proper places. The weapons loadout makes use of the stock, Expansion Pak 1 M57 & M64 WW2 era bombs. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... Of course, the expected "Notes" section with comments, suggestions, and whatnots.   8. iirc, it's a 'virtual' hook. there was something in AD orignal readme, but I can't seem to find it! edit: okk, the hood itsefl is NOT animated at all (and it's not like we really need it ... none of the 3W runways have the emergency arresting gear) however, if one hits the "H" key to deply it... something interestering happens (and this is not listed ANYWHERE in the data ini!!!) the AFR probe deploys!!! hey, that's kinda neat! edit: ok that 's the EF 105 and 105F only with probes... the 105G don't work edit x3 .. to make the probe work, change ARRESTOR to ARRESTER. wieird s**t!!
  9. another thing... since we don't actually HAVE a destroyed model for the Stuka, this is what I've been using: DestroyedModel=Bf109FDest.LOD DestroyedEffect=VehicleFireEffect it's kinda close enough for wrecked & burning bird the destroyed lods are somewhere in the SF2 downloads section.

SF2 Lockheed (Y)F-12A Starduster by Veltro2K File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 07 January 2013 File Category: What If Hangar SF2 Lockheed (Y)F-12A Starduster by Veltro2K =For SF2, Any and All (Full 5 Merged Prefered/Reccomended) Re-release of Veltro's F-12A Interceptor. This is the FULL aircraft, with pretty much everything needed. If you have the original release, it's advised you delete it and use ONLY the items supplied herein (been some changes, doncha know!). This package also includes all the various 'tweeks' from my 2011 modification pak. The skin has been converted to jpg, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. Weapons, sounds, pilot figures, etc, from the Tweeks Pak are included. And a NEW SF2-style hangar screen. This assumes a fully operational aircraft, so when in game you'll is listed as F-12A Starduster On the aircraft selection drop-down menu.   13. is someone forgetting HOW SAM batteries work???? Leave the SA-6s alone ...they have to be laid out around their respective radars, just like any other SAM battery. Doing as mobile AAA will negate their effectiveness or completely shut them down. They'll just sit there like big dumb blind yahoos, and do nothing. the 6s are NOT like SA-8, that are integrated into the vehicle with search/track/ radars and the launcher. That why SA-8s can be classed as Mobile_AAA (in fact, someone a few years ago actually fixed the SA-8s .. might want to check the SF2 Objects downloads. that mod allows you 2 kinds of 8 - one as Mobile_AAA, and the stock version as Mobile_SAM)

  15. which ones? Euro or North Africa? not all the NA one are done (desert splinter, solid sand-yellow still need finishing)
  16. so, it's like my VVS Airacobra .. blue background, with red star. In all 6 positions? it's a DAT only aircraft, so .... it has to come from them. It should be still available from there ??? I guess!! You can always ask Ceaser! alternatively, if folks have WoA, and can just copy/paste the relevant file (all the inis, cockpit, etc) to use the new Sov skin

Hence the Full 4/5 Merged reccomendation* Some major upgrades to ArmorDave F-105F Thunderchiefs, bring them more in line with SF2 at the Full-5 Merged/Latest Patch level, as of July 2012. This mod is desinged to REPLACE any eariler SF2 update/upgrade versions of AD's aircraft that may be availalbe. The package contains 2 complete aircraft: F-105F (standard NM finish) EF-105F Wild Weasel II (SEA camo) Skins remain in bmp format (as they're not excpetionally large in size), and Decal Randomization is TRUE. Damage textures are the older tga versions. Both data inis have all new FM parameters, loadouts have been 'adjusted' for Game usage (and may not reflect Real World situations, but =WILL= reflect Game World situations). New engine sound, and some other small tweeks. New SF2-style Hangar screens are included. No weapons are included, other than the drop tanks, as I've referenced all stock 3W items. See the "Notes" section for more info on the changes.   19. something wrong with Geo's Hellcat pit?? (not that Stary's pit isn't great...just saying) those 'grab bars' (no hand hold) would never been seen on a Naval aircraft due to 'crash protection' for the pilot ... even during arrested landings there was the danger of hitting one's head on the panel/gunsight. Having THOSE in the way increase the risk of injury

  21. for the DAT's P-40E?? not that I'm aware of however, it's mapped exactly like another one, and I got the template from simmerspaint shop. iirc, it's called "p-40e-m template.psd". If you want, I have it
  22. just used that to test...those are the little bulges on the chine, near the cockpit. There's a couple other itmes to try still EDIT:: ok!!!   23. oh! so that's what those are!!! I'll check the OUT file (or one could leae them as camera pods and add RECON to the mission tasking....wonder of an EO camera can be added....)
  24. ??? don't know! haven't flown it for some some. it may be turned off in the data ini due to cockpit clipping issues. experiment!!
  25. convert the skin to bmp, and see what happens it should be noted at this time, 98.6% of ALL modders are ONLY building for SF2, and the SF/Wo* series in kinda dead
