  1. there's a plane in those screenies????
  2. "fake pilot" is how we did it for the Indo-Pak mod. as to this statement: wow..just wow.
  3. BadFrank gave me the idea, so this is my attempt at another fuel truck. Based off the Zil Fuel (aka 'sovietfueltruck'), a 'new' object is created via ini edits. As I totally suck at metallic textures (for the fuel tank), templates will be included, so folks can but whatever oil company they want on it. Also, you can almost read the lettering on the door....* *"Driver Carries No Cash"
  4. you'lll find it in the SF2 What If... aircraft downloads section
  5. don't forget, with few exceptions, all droptanks are now built in the aircraft's lod, and exist only as weaponsdata.ini entries so, in essence, they have no seperate lod* (again, with some exceptions) *if said lods exist, they're locked away with all the others*
  6. this is Simon's old bird, not the new one for KAW? look good!
  7. considering my mod folders for SF2V/E/I/NA are unmodded ..... that don't explain the lack the burners on the Tomcats.
  8. don't they have 4 wing pylons??? (like the one in the Indo-Pak mod?)
  9. yes, as stated it's a cockpit lod issue, which is why we've pretty much left it alone; partly due to clipping issues. end users just have to suspend disbelief on the external parts

an old friend of mine, Graham Manassi. He's Engilsh, but in his own words "I moved here to America, because the whole country celebrates my birthday"
  11. topic moved to a more approrpriate forum, where it might actually be seen, and answered (as in: PLEASE DO NOT POST IN THE KNOWLEDGE BASE!!) =====
  12. run from each exe, full-5 merged... no AB emitter on Kittys...
  13. just noticed this... are the 14A and 14A_77 missing their afterbruners emmiters??? (and no, the emitter for the TMF one isn't conflicting)
  14. I third the notion ... more templates is ALWAYS a good idear!!! expecially for stock birds!!!!
  15. it's a european text thing, iirc. what i did years ago, was open it in Word, and just re-edited the lines, saved it as plain text (again, iirc), then reopen in notepad to triple check some addditional editing in notepad may be necessary (I know the Indian AF J I uploaded to the SF2 section is corrected for that)
  16. It's Slartibartfast's BD!

have a great one, and keep up the good work on them fjords!!

More Airbase Goodies = SF/Wo* & SF2 series Games (Any and All -hopefully*!) = A few more pieces of equipment, to place around airfields or bases, or other 'locations of interest'. The items are: Bulldozer (-original creator unknown, as it comes from waay back on the WW2 terrains) Road Grader Steamroller (these 2 by Sundowner) It should be noted at this time, these are NOT GroundObjects, like the yellow fuel truck recently released, but TERRAIN objects, that will need hand placement on your terrain of choice. Instructions are below in the "To Add To A Terrain" section. As always, fairly easy to follow (for Terraformers/Targeteers), yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them! *note: as the grader and roller have been built in late model MAX, they may not work in SF/Wo* games. This has NOT been tested* With special thanks to Sundowner!! Enjoy! wrench kevin stein

  19. building NAS Kanheoe on the Hawaii map was a frakking nightmare! I never was fully satisfied with it (or the damn water/land humping at the sea-land transition I never fully got rid of)
  20. oh, i'm still working on em ... slowly. In between all the KAW stuff that still needs doing (decals, skins, etc)
  21. that file host takes forever to d/l!! (i'm still waiting from them to come down as i type this at a whoping 20k p/sec). I LIKE the look! Can't wait to inspect the PSDs i'd have just uppped them here, in the SF2/Tool & Utilities section, with the caveat that 'they may need some additional eye candy' or something like that!
  22. ...and a pony, AND a foot-long chili-cheese dog (onions optional)
  23. Been there myself, more than a few times. Just wish I could work in MAX like you guys do ... to me, it's almost sorcery (or at least magic of some kind)!! To say nothing of them wizards/magicians/alchemists/Sheldon Coopers that do flight models!
