  2. you'll find that the folder structure in the mods folder is (pretty much) identical to what you're used to in SF/Wo*. With the exception of NOT having certain folder already there. As you've discovered. But, as you've also discovered, that's a pretty simple fix! <gr>

  9. don't know ... not enough data on the net, and I can't find the Famous Airplane of the World on the T-1. Pretty sure it's a different design.

  11. you can't swap between them. Scales are different, locations are different, and everything else is different. Search the terrain downloads, i did some target area upgrading on the original 3w terrain some years ago. The Old Fashioned Way (tm)
  12. Did you delete the original default.ini, start the game and let it build a new one? THEN try and remap from in-game? or... did you try setting the default ini manually? via a text editor? It just opens in Notepad THEN.. make it read only. and then just copy/paste in back into the /Controls folder. and now you have a backup many of us have experienced the 'what the fuck auto remapping of keys'. it's some glitch that seems (imo) associated with SF2NA, but I'm not sure. (sort of like the wind-up toy sounds in NA) Since I have multiple installs, and "known good" default inis, I just swap them between the various mods folders

  14. q 1) yes q 2) also a yes, problem is, the TMF one is really excellent. the extending nose gear for RN carrier launches iirc, is NOT on the 3W version. Not that it would make any difference anyway. the advantage if buying the 3w phantoms, is they're all (and I mean ALL) mapped identically -- with very little fiddling, skins can be swapped around. now, if i remember correctly --- and hopefully Crusader or Sundowner will drop in to confirm or correct me -- back around 2005-ish, the MAX files for the 3W phantoms got leaked to the public. If'n i remember the story correctly, the 3W guys basicly said 'ah, well, fuck it' And TMF got a copy of it, so they're based of the original. But they a exceptional products.

    SF2 Hawaii/Northern Pacific Terrain, Modern (v.2) 9/5/2020 - For SF2, Any & All (Full-5 Merged, + Expansion Paks REQUIRED!!!) This is a rebuild of the WW2 Hawaiian Islands terrain into a more "modern" version (1950s and later). This is NOT a WW2 version; it is for post-war into modern times. Do NOT use this in your WW2 PTO mods folder!! You must also have SF2NA are part of you merged installs. This was built and tested in the NA environment. You may experience longer than normal loading times due to the number of terrain objects. It should be noted, due to the inherent scaling issue in the SF series, objects placed herein are, for the most part, representative of their Real World counterparts.
