  1. Oh, forgot to mention, the 61st nose art is a accurate as I can make it; call it 98.6%!! Based of the real birds Major Lee would be proud! Wrench kevin stein
  2. Saaaaaawwweeettt!!! I'm glad somebody did this! Good job! Wrench kevin stein
  3. Don't forget Thunder & Lightnings...lots of great RAF stuff over there Wrench kevin stein
  4. Well, it should extract directly into the terrain foldeer, so just leave it there. Before AND after editing To edit, any old text editor will do; notepad, wordpad, etc. Dosen't the post say something about 'use your text editor of choice'??? If not, I'll go back and fix it! Wrench kevin stein ps: good catches!!!
  5. Well, it IS just getting started in the 'pimping out' process; that's just the window tint. Wait until you see the other tweeks; spinner rims, lights in the wheelwell, purple velour diamnond tuck and roll upholstory, Goodyear all season radials; 96 inchers!! 36'' plasma, FULL surround sound, wet bar, hot tub in the waist section.. The bomb bay opens up and lowers a mirrored, lighted dance floor, with multi-colored strobes...oh, yeah, we're just getting started!!! and to top it off, a complete CH HOTAS system (with rudder pedals!!!) Wrench kevin stein
  6. Add it (the stripe) to the rudder mesh, too, using the same coordinates as the fin, or maybe moved back a hair. Just make sure it's set to Level=0, then anything else will be on top of it. Did this for the P-82 SWOTL mod; had the rudder red, with the serial number above it. Don't forget to paint the airbrake to match the rest of the fueselage! You know, it actually looks GOOD in USAF colors!! Wrench kevin stein
  7. Don't forget, too, the enhanced AI section that can be added to each aircraft's data ini; I've added it to several (most of the WW2 birds already come with it)...and it works for jets too I haven't noticed a GREAT change in behavior, but something is different. And it don't seem to matter if it's prop or jet - bomber, attack, fighter, etc. As to the patch, I'm betting we won't see until the sometime in the last quater of the year. Wrench kevin stein
  8. The Black Widow should be listed as a WIP...I seem to recall someone (Pasko???) showing some early shot about 3+ years ago Having the 'Big-Assed Beast' would be a great addition to the PTO installs, but to my knowledge, no one's working on it. There is a Tigercat in the works, if that's of any interest. Wrench kevin stein
  9. File Name: Hawk 75A, Vichy French File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 27 May 2008 File Category: Axis Fighters Curtis-Wright Hawk 75A, Vichy French Armee De L'Air Package for SF/WoV/WoE WW2 MTO Installs: This is a complete package including ALL parts necessary to unzip and install a new, export version of Wolf's P-36 Mohawk, as used by the Vichy French Air Force, after the Fall of France. A single skin with generic markings is included. Tail and Number decals are by Heck Mitchell, and borrowed from the AdA version. It 'represents' GCII/5, but should not be considered 100% historically accurate. The "Indian Head" squadon insignia decal is by me. A new Vichy Hawk 75 hangar screen is included, as are damage tgas. There is a new French 7.5mm machine gun, courtesy of Heck, and a 50kg bomb by me, so you'll be using BOTH the gun and weapons editor to add them. (note: both these weapons were included in the AdA Douglas DB-7 previously released). It is NOT reccomended for use in a WW2 install based on WoI ---- Please note you MUST have the latest Weapons Pack (Bunyap Pak) for the WW2 weapons ---- Finally got around to finishing it... PLEASE read the readme for detailed install instructions, and the General Notes and Noise Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein Click here to download this file
  10. File Name: MiG-25PD Foxbat-E, Libyan AF File Submitter: Wrench File Submitted: 27 May 2008 File Updated: 28 May 2008 File Category: Soviet Aircraft and Variants MiG-25PD Foxbat-E LARAF Mod A Stand-Alone aircraft for SF/WoV/WoE/WoI This package will create a complete 'nation specific' aircraft; the MiG-25PD as used by the Libyan Air Force. To make installation as simple as possible, EVERYTHING is included; the complete aircraft, cockpit folder (based off Paladrin's work, as included in the original Foxbat Pack), all the inis, skin, etc. New serial number decals have been created, using the best intell possible; some are speculative, but based from known sources. Included in the data ini are my lighting fixes, as seen on the CA Message Boards. It is set up to use either of the weapons paks; the Bunyap Pak or Mirage Factory. If using the BunyPak, no additional work is required; unzip and fly away! For those using the TMF Pak, I've included an alternate Loadout.ini, that using the same NATO style naming conventions for the Soviet/WarPac weapons (See Install Instruction below). The data ini is already set for "WP,SOVIET", so you should encounter NO problems in that respect. As it is a complete aircraft, it also be usable in WoI, I've tested it in ALL iterations of the game, it works just fine. (See NOTES below for more) For WoI users: If you haven't added the R-40 missiles, as per the WoI Loadouts Thread at CombatAce, you WILL be adding these, so get your Weapons Editor warmed up!! Remember -- use the WoI ONLY WepEditor!!! Included are new Hangar and Loading screens; 2 Hangars actually, one is SF/WoV/WoE setup, and one for WoI. PLEASE!!! read the enclosed readme for full, detailed install instructions, and the usual Notes and Commentaries. Happy Hunting!! Wrench Kevin Stein Click here to download this file

  12. The cat extractor tool, in the downloads, "Utilities & Tools" section. I'll make a few edits on that instructional post, making sure that's stated. Wrench kevin stein
  13. Moved this to the proper Forum... Remember folks: Answers in the Knowledge Base (hopefully!!!) Questions in the main Forums Thank you!!! To business... There are a couple of mod for the AI that tweek them out; I can't remember exactly where they are, but look in the downloads section, or try the Search button for "Uber AI". Try that one, and see if it 'wakes them up' so to speak! Wrench kevin stein
  14. NO!!! We ain't gonna wait that long; be something like December for the patches?? We're shooting for mid-summer. BTW, this is NOT to be construed as an official announcement, in any way, shape or form. I didn't say a thing...nothing to see here...these are not the mods you're looking for...move along... WRench kevin stein
  15. I seem to remember Gepard's original release HAVING carrier stations already set in the targets ini... At any rate, the Israel2 Upgrade I recently released, has them as well. As does the WoI Targets Upgrade. Here in the 'Terrains' downloads section... Wrench kevin stein
  16. Approved, and up for grabs!! Go get it, folks! Nice job, too, Kuk!! Wrench kevin stein
  17. http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?showtopic=26451 The Knowledge Base is your friend... Wrench kevin stein
  18. The modes are changable, there's just no B-sweep of radar. It IS working in all modes for me, there's just no 'vertical line' (B-Sweep) going back and fort, or fixed for borsight. There IS however, a inverted T that's designated the locked-on target Wrench kevin stein
  19. The Turkey's loadouts are EXACTLY as they should be. It's a Mirage Factory product...they know exactly what they're doing. Don't mess with perfection. Wrench kevin stein
  20. It'll be released in the 'Desert Storm' mod pak. WRench kevin stein
  21. That readme alone is worth the download!! "The Student has now become the Master" -- well done!!! You've just raised the bar on readmes :i-m_so_happy: Great looking bird, and the cockpit is superb!!! Great job Bobrock!! Congrats!!! Wrench kevin stein
  22. Flagpoles are nothing...take less than 5 minutes to make!! Which one do you need?? I can whip it out in no time, unless it's one i've got already. If it's a US flag, with 50 stars, there's one in the Libya Upgrade; anything else, just ask!! The other buildings are, unfortunately, in DBS. If Major Lee says its ok to share, I can upload them somewhere... Wrench kevin stein
  23. It's built into the cockpit ini...or cabina if it's still named that. Look for Canopy_Abre There should be 5 listings. Just comment them out, not in the listing section, but down below where the descriptions are Wrench kevin stein
  24. DBS= 'Danger: Bering Straits', and Alaska map by Major Lee. Unfortunately, as his site is still down, that's the only place to get it. Wrench kevin stein
  25. It's a known problem. The cause is having the runway/airbases listed as the first target area. For some reason, it creats a huge ground drag, and holds you back. Go into the downloads section, and grab my Range Update pak...it adds a bunch more targets and fixes the target listing, and gets you into the air. Try that, and let us know! Wrench kevin stein
