About MJmorrow

  1. In the book Camel- King of Combat, there is a passeage, written by Ronald Sykes, and Sykes mentions that he used 28 Imperial gallons of fuel, in his Camel, at take off. 24 gallons in the main tank and four gallons in the reserve tank. I hope that this is helpful.
  2. Olham, Thank you for the welcome and very well said regarding the mutual respect of the pilots. I am a long time observer and a new participant in the online forum. I am BHaH ready and able. Great sim. There will always be little things I would like to change about the sim but there are many things I would change about myself too and I am quite happy with myself. What a great experience it is to be high in the clouds in this wonderful OFF universe! Thank you again Olham. Best Regards, MJ
  3. Olham, Yes a great bird flown by many great aviators. I have Russian ancestry. Many years ago your relatives and my relatives fought each other. Your relatives fought very well and it took many nations's aid to help Russia win. Russia would not win on her own. German training was quite impressive. Erich Hartmann is a great example. He killed many of my kind but he fought fairly and he never said a cross word about my people that my people did not ask for. I am so glad that we can admire all of our cultures today without the past weighing us all down. Your people made fine planes for sure. You have a fine culture just as all of the contributors on this forum come from wonderful cultures. Is it not amazing that today we can admire each other when so many times before we lost sight of such things? Best Regards, MJ
  4. How embarrassing.

Remember to bring enough fuel to circle the aerodrome while you climb to whatever altitude you make your approach to the enemy lines. I forgot to do so a few times myself. All the best, MJ
  5. off dog fight competion trial

If RL allows I will be there with a "Friend and Enemy Wreath," my killer can toss over my grave while pulling away in his snazzy Albatross.....full honors too I hope. =) All the best, MJ
  6. I have tremendous respect for my neighbors to the north. Fine people and culture. It is best not to argue whether or not Canada is mentioned by name. Let us try to remember that Canada and many other great nations and cultures fought bravely on both sides. It is a shame so many citizens of these great nations and cultures did not live past their teens and twenties. Mnay of our relatives served in armed forces of nations throughout the World. Some of our relatives fought on the side that won and some of our relatives fought for the side that lost. It is a great calamity that violence among our families and nations ever occurred in the first place.
  7. My experience exactly. I think the machines fall too easily. I want to flame the machines. I put fifty rounds in and my enemy spins out of controL.....no flames. I like the patch in all other respects.....but I need a bonfire for a downed machine..... -MJ
  8. Patch 1.26 observations and comments

I should add that I am greatly impressed aboutt he OBD team spending so much time tweeking OFF for us...... now about the machines falling at the first bullet....lol A damn great sim over all though. Thank you all for the effort, MJ
  9. Patch 1.26 observations and comments

Great point about the wind. I always thought the wind should be more noticable. I will pay more attention to the sound changes now. I would not mind if the wind was more noticable than it is now....especially in a dive. -MJ
  10. Patch 1.26 observations and comments

I like most of the changes. The enemy ai can roll faster. Some planes have a lot more pep. It seems too easy when I down a machine. I like to flame machines. The enemy falls like a stone anytime I put 50 or more rounds in. I can't manage to flame the buggers anymore! I liked it better when I could empty my spandaus into the engine and see a pretty fire ball....that said I like just about everything else. All the best, MJ
  11. UK Widowmaker, Will do. Next time I will post them in the OFF Skinners section. By the way, I love your skins too. All the best, MJ
  12. Just for the heck of it......Save a copy of your favorite skin in a place you can find. Now copy the skin and add a numerical layer that includes the number of kills you have confirmed. Every time you are credited with a new kill go back to the first skin and add a skin layer with the correct number of kills you have confirmed. Just an idea I might try out. - MJ
  13. Rickitycrate, I am looking forward to your skins! I do not know how to make a great paint job like the base skin has courtesy of the OFF team but it is easy to add layers on top of the base skin. You will pick that up in a short period of time. All the best, MJ
  14. Hi everyone, My favorite band The Birthday Massacre is going on tour on April 21st so I decided to do a skin with a Birthday Massacre theme. Here are some pictres. I used the skin for Jasta Richtofen as a base. I thought that a Jasta named after the Baron was appropriate since their tour starts on April 21st. Do well and be well, MJ
