Mr. B is an unspeakable a..hole (also see a couple of Youtube movies we had here lately), that's for sure, but I don't think that this is the way to handle things. He is a politician and a lot of those people do things that would get a normal human being in jail, but this little episode will only result in more votes for him. I love and respect Italy as well as Italians, but a people usually gets the leader it deserves. It's up to them to get rid of him, but it should happen either through the law ( cases of corruption, bussiness with the Maffia etc.) or through elections. Memorable mission in N>E Germany: for the first time in something like 7 years my flight caught the enemy (Floggers in this case) ON THE GROUND, lining up for takeoff. Forgot to make pics, too busy blowing them up... After that some nice airfield busting with the French Navy "what if" A4T. Great plane, well equiped, modern avionics, superb pit.... Right so, same timescale, same task, just different procurement policies, both replaced by F16's. By the way: there were quite a few dragchute equiped Vipers around in 1989 from the later batches. The older ones were being rebuilt at that time. Hou doe, Derk

How about at that time some7 squadrons of F16A blk 10 /15 / OCU of the KLu and (if I remember it correctly) 6 squadrons of the BAF, and about 4 squadrons each for Norway and Danmark ? ..... Together a true swarm of Vipers. NF 5A's still available in 2 squadrons in 1989. Everything readily available for DL Hou doe, Derk
