  1. Just coming on to wish all the Yanks on here a splendid fourth of July for Tomorrow! (I wont be around tomorrow, so I thought I would say it now) Have a very nice day y'all
  2. A recent photo of our Hero.... When he realised exactly WHAT he had created!!!
  3. Hi Badgerboy. Sorry...this is what I meant...they were comic book stories, made into a yearly hardcover (usually for the Christmas market) Pic 2 is exactly the pic I was talking about!...great days! OMG...this has brought back memories!!...I had several of those!!...bloody hell! http://www.tonystrading.co.uk/galleries/annuals/tiger.htm
  4. I agree... my favourite one so far!
  5. It's available to download now Thank you everyone for your comments...It's very encouraging!...As long as you guys like my skins...I shall continue to make them, and with all the great help and advice I get from the 'Masters' of skinning on the forum, I shall continue to get better I hope! Watch this space
  6. Yes..that's it exactly!... Usually with 'little bit's' breaking off! I would be very grateful of a test run on T/S if thats ok?...just let me know when's good for you? thanks m8
  7. I did have it..(indeed probably still do somewhere)..it was good fun..and reminded me of those Annuals I used to get for Christmas
  8. Bless him!..The strain got to him...he was only 25 yrs old when that was taken!
  9. Yes, there are a few out there...most of them banning applications
  10. Hi Hauksbee, Yes, very valid points. The diamonds I originally did were quite large (possibly twice the size) and were black and white. This is something I plan to do on a DVII...The trouble was, on the DR1, with it's stumpy little Fuselage, it just didn't cut it...it looked a bit like a pedestrian crossing. The DVII will, I think...Show that off nicely... The Diamonds on the wings are about the size I am looking at for the DVII. I find it very useful, when chaps like yourself tell me their opinions, as it helps me grow as a skinner.... thanks m8
  11. 47 downloads

Here is a DR1 which I played around with, using a diamond lozenge effect. Enjoy
  12. View File Diamond DR1 Here is a DR1 which I played around with, using a diamond lozenge effect. Enjoy Submitter UK_Widowmaker Submitted 07/02/2009 Category Aircraft Skins
  13. well, here is my latest skin. I was just playing around with Diamonds, and this is the fruit of my weirdness!...It's different...but hopefully still maintains a touch of realistic. It's an effect I look forward to trying on different Aircraft, with other colours. Hope you enjoy it...and my next project is an American Camel I shall upload now
  14. I have a mic sorted now...so will do my best to get online with you guys. (I shall teach you all some of my moves!)...most of which entail travelling in a downward spirral...very quickly!
  15. If price is an issue...Didn't Gous find a cheaper alternative?
  16. Hi Broadside. My goodness...where shall we begin?..... If you are an ex- RB fan..you have come to the right place! First off...Forget all you have heard about CFS3..yes, it's not the best Simulator in the world.... But OFF is the best simulator in the world (our opinion of course)...and it will look and play brilliantly on your rig! (you need both CFS3 and OFF in order to play) MP has had a slightly shaky start if I am honest...but some of the guys on here have made massive leaps forward with it, and the future of MP is looking very exciting!...and there are regular MP missions played on this (the definative OFF forum)...and games are announced well in advance! The expansion pack will be a seperate thing from the original Phase 3. The sheer diversity of OFF, the incredible scenery, number of different aircraft, the moving front lines, the Forum..the Mods and Skins and indeed every damn thing about this Simulator never fails to enthral, excite and blow me away! TrackIR is highly recommended, Sidewinder FF2...absolutely fine! You can make OFF as easy or as hard as you like...there are loads of settings you can change...you can immerse yourself in a campaign, or jump into dozens of different aircraft..with thousands of historicaly accurate skins for a quick blast. The work these guys have done on this Simulator will leave your jaw firmly resting on the floor!...This is a Time Machine, that takes you back to a period of history you only dreamed about. My advice?..Forget Red Baron....have a look at ROF (if the need takes you)...but LIVE OFF!!! It isn't a Simulator...... It's an Experience!..... Grab it with both hands!...enjoy the Sim..and welcome to the community!! Oh..and one more thing.. The OFF developers are members of this great forum...the wonderful thing is...THEY LISTEN TO YOU! They ask us for our input...they want our input...and they act on our input! Try getting that with EA Games!!...hahahaha
  17. Brilliant reference work Homeboy!...thanks from all us OFF(ers)
  18. Yeah...but only by a Knat's Testicle!
  19. Hiya This is a picture of an Alb from those heady days of Phase 1 You will notice some lovely looking bulletholes in the Fuselage.... my question is:- I don't see bulletholes on the fuselage anymore...and not all that many on the wings either. I have the graphics setting correct to show damage, but is this something my end?...Or have you 'toned it down?' (as you can see..my pilot was very lucky that day!)
  20. Yes..one has to take steps!...So, can understand the registration thing (quite a few of my games are registered that way, without any problems at all)..Just don't use Steam!..AAARG!...lol Great news about the Crash effects!!...a real plus that will be highly anticipated!..great work as usual..and well done to Tom..whoever you are
  21. What a tw@t.... he's never going to make retirement
  22. Yes, I have a pic of one somewhere..good idea Olham. Working on a DR1 at the moment...so the Camel will be the next project
