In fact...this may be interesting to test? Take a few different aircraft up to 5 - 10,000 ft and see which glides the best after you gut the engine. (well, it is a boring old Sunday after all!)

I sometimes go up in a Camel, against Herr Kissenberth's Camel...like you say, can't get amore even scrap than that!

It's very satisfying when you pull something like that off isnt it?... The feeling when you get on the ground...cut that engine...and sit listening to the Dog bark, and the birds singing, is truly great!..... I often take a break from the game at that stage, just to recover my nerves!

I read somewhere on the net, that the 'white scratches and blotches' that are often seen on WW1 aircraft, is in fact Bird droppings...which react to the dope giving it a weathered appearance. I took this a little further in one of my skins, and actually hunted around for a picture of bird sh*t...used it on the wings...and low and behold!..It looked exactly like someone had vomited a Vanilla Milkshake all over it!!....Oh well...back to the drawing board!...hahaha

Hi Hellshade... Yes, I have played it...but it feels like the other squad members are just scenery...and it's rather bland (IMHO) of course! Multiplayer is much better than in BIAHH though...and the Zombie levels are great fun...and like you say..the flamethrower is superb!

They had early successes, I grant you However, i am currently flying in Feb 1918.... and the Blacktails are rapidly becoming the Yellow tailed Chickens!...I haven't seen any for a while now...Apart from the last one I came across. Sadly for him..... He showed the ground troops an excellent display of pyrotechnic's........ as he spun down in flames!

Mr Lucky..Yes, they have bots to fight against in Single player.... Absolutely love the Napoleonic addon for RTW too..classic! OVS..have to agree with you 100% re:- BIA-HH....probably (in fact no) Definately the Best WW2 shooter I have ever played!...the cinematics alone were just unbelievable!! Weathering is a vital part of skinning..but as has been said, it can be overdone (and equally, under done) The ideal is to have an aircraft that looks 'used'...but does not detract from the wonderful colours of the aircraft of the period

I just ordered Strike Commander from Ebay..... The Origin series really were cutting edge at the time!...And I fancy some nostalgia!
