  1. Please do!..that's a smashing idea! (iv'e nearly worn out my F12 key!)
  2. Wow!...very impressive.
  3. OFF and this mod are my favourite WW1 sims!...thanks for all your hard work!
  4. wow!...thanks Stump....that's a gem!!!!!
  5. could we get this moved / copied / stickied into the skinning section please?
  6. Way to go m8!!
  7. Will do MK2. In fact, would it be possible to have a sticky in this section just for custom skin screenshots? (then even people not overly fussed about skinning themselves, can just have a look at what they're missing?..lol)
  8. No problem guys...I will ask Gous if he could put his Paintshop pro one in here too
  9. Love the skins...would it be possible if you could post any future skins in the OFF Skinners section too please? Many thanks
  10. If I can do it...believe me..So can you!!! ( The Albatros was an all wooden skin, with plain wings until I got my hands on it!) I will cover how to do the Lozenge camo (It's easy peasy!... I promise) in the tutorial (coming soon)...and how to avoid putting the number 5 on the wrong way!....sheesh!!
  11. As a noobie to skinning in photoshop, I thought it would be useful if I did a small tutorial for fellow noobs, to help get them kickstarted into Skinning? Some more advanced stuff is known by some very clever chaps on the OFF forum, and I hope to pursuade them to share some tips and tricks for us all? I will do a mini tutorial over this weekend (time permitting) and hopefully it will help you to avoid some of the cock ups I have made! (I promise to keep it as jargon free as possible!!!)
  12. If you open up the OFF folder with Windows Explorer, and navigate your way to the folder therein called UIRES.... you will find 3 Subfolders called GBR / GER and USA...open up the folder inside each called 'Noseart' Inside those folders are some nice logos /symbols etc that you may find useful for adding to your new skins!
  13. Nice one Mr Dirt...keep checking back here, as hopefully a lot more stuff of interest to come
  14. Roger Wilco. (I can't play it at the moment..as It is a Birthday present for my Son!..heehee...and so, I don't want him to see it installed on my machine) I love playing the sneaky parent role!!
  15. P3 really has made a whopping difference to FPS Upgrading from P2 to P3 (exactly the same hardware) and my fps went up by 10 - 15 fps!!!
  16. I will just add a small observation regarding my own experience. Always try to keep 'Backlighting' to a minimum (for example, if you have the sun blaring in from a window behind you..TrackIR has a fit!!)
  17. I'm good for a few UK ones
  18. Never ceases to amaze me that you guys can still find bit's of OFF that need fixing! ...you old perfectionist's you! :)
  19. http://developer.nvidia.com/object/photosh...ds_plugins.html An absolute must have if you own Photoshop, and want to skin. This addon allows you to open, edit and save those all important DDS files that OFF skins use!...without the need for any additional software. (once you finish skinning your aircraft, just save it as a DDS file, and away you go!) OvS: Edited only to add in the 'Topic Description'. Great post and very important!!
  20. I am still holding out for the Snipe!..... It was an absolute killer in RB3d (one day he says wisfully!)
  21. That would be MOST welcome stump. Much appreciated
  22. Thanks Capt Winters.... Not what I wanted to hear, but thanks anyhow
  23. Heard bad reports about it doing that. I suspect that pile of sh*t STEAM is responsible!....GOD I HATE STEAM!
