You are running SF P1 Sp3? You have added the 2 carriers so that you have a separate folder for each of Albion & Bulwark as well as separate data.inis for them in your Objects folder? You are using my GROUNDOBJECTSDATA.ini in the Objects folder & my carriertest.msn in the missions folder? If yes to all above I would suggest that you look at your folder structure for Albion. Possibly you have a folder within a folder. It works for the rest of us so it should work for you.
-
raffut, I believe that there is a typo in the readme & it says edit the groundobjects.ini whereas what you really need to edit is the GROUNDOBJECTSDATA.ini If you haven't already added items to this before then just use the 1 that I attached.
-
I appreciate that which is why I didn't address SF but confined my reply to WoV

I know that you have posted this "elsewhere" galanti & we know that it will be looked at. Until it is investigated we won't know if it is a bug for sure but as far as WoV what is known is that the Vietnamese really didn't have that many Migs & were pretty often unwilling to commit those that they did have. Towards the end of the war it was extremely rare for a Mig to be seen.

2 possibilities that I can see (I haven't tested). 1) Yours is labelled carriertest.msn.txt whereas mine is carriertest.msn 2) Yours has a blank first line
-
Nope. Perhaps if you attach it I can compare it.

srael terrain version 1.4 readme: After unsuccessfull attempts to make Israel terrain in an 1:1 scale i decided to improve the smaller version a little bit. I included now 110 target areas (29 more than in v1.3) For instance: I added 3 new egyptian airbases: Kairo West Wadi al Jandali and following a multiple wish of one single user: Beni Suef 2 new jordanian airfields: H-5 Prinz Hassan Al Jafr 1 new syrian airfield: Al Suweidaja The direction of airfield i changed in Ovda, Ben Gurion, Ramat David and El Arish, to meet the conditions of the terrain texture or terrain structure better. E.G. No starting against the mountains more in Ovda, instead starting in direction of the valley. El Arish got an different airfield. Al Mansura is moved some 100 meters to avoid trees on the runway. I included a bunker line along the suez canal (Bar Lev line) and a israeli Radar warning line in the middle of Sinai. Near Inshas, Tanta and Port Said barracks complexes i installed. Fuel or Oil Storage facilities are now in Suez and Port Said. 3 bridges over the river Nil are new. Some with the bridges corresponting Cities are now on the map. The SAM fence along the Suez canal is now growing up in 1970 instead 1967 and will get his maximum efficency in 1973. The Bar Lev bunkiers will come in 1968 and the israeli airfileds in Sinai (El Arish, Bir Gifgafa, Bir Tamahada and Sharm es Sheik) are active from 1968. The egyptian ponton bridges come in 1973. etc -
Hi, I don't think so - there wasn't steam until the patch. However, TK isn't finished & tbh I suspect that adding 1 wouldn't be too hard if we had a .wav

No problem - I'll sort it.

The J29 flew for the first time in 1948. It was the first european aircraft with swept wings. 661 J29s were built between 1951 and 1958 and they served in the Swedish airforce until 1967. Due to the swedish neutrality and the fact that the airforce needed all the planes SAAB could produce, J29 was never exported with the exception of 30 used planes that were modified and sold to Austria with start in 1961. J29 broke many speed records during its service. Combat records were limited to UN operations in Africa 1961-62 where it performed very well. J29's performance was comparable with the best fighters the superpowers could mobilize (F-86 & Mig-15), and could be considered the peak of the swedish airforce during a period when it was second (numerically) only to USA, USSR and Great Britain. J29F was the last version and this plane was equiped with an after burner and the new wing introduced with the E-model. -
OK try putting this in your Objects folder after you have unzipped it. You should also have a separate folder for each of Albion & Bulwark as well as separate data.inis for them in your Objects folder. GROUNDOBJECTDATA.zip
-
So do you want a basic groundobject data.ini with Albion & Bulwark as the only addins? Alternatively read through what I told Dan to do. btw have you compared my .msn & yours to see where you went wrong?

weird especially as I just talked Dan through it & it's working fine for him too... Have you got a lot of mods - I could always send you a basic groundobjectdata.ini with Albion & Bulwark added. Try using the carriertest.msn in this zip (you'll have to extract it of course) http://forum.biohazcentral.com/index.php?a...ype=post&id=966 It's set up for Albion.
-
Nope, they sold out in the US & are having to do a reprint for there. I do know that TK is working on further distribution but how far it has got ... Meantime it is possible to import from the US for about £22-25.

Plenty of free & decent image editing software available. 2nd is possibly more valid but I doubt that it's 99.9% of all visitors (possibly 99% of those that are interested) - e.g. I don't have PF .

MJ, a 12lb laptop? That's not portable - that's your home exercise weights.
-
It's not released yet for Strike Fighters afaik. You can find the Hornet addon at http://forum.biohazcentral.com/index.php?download=653 but it isn't a Super Bug.
-
OK, for this you are going to need to get a couple of things from the downloads section here at Biohaz. 1) A carrier - for this example Gramp's Albion 2) Skypat's cat extractor Take the Albion file & extract the .zip. Go down to a level where you have an Albion folder, 2 images & an ALBION_DATA.ini. Take all of those & copy them to your Strike Fighters/Objects folder. Now you need to use the cat extractor & extract the groundobjectsdata.ini from the ObjectData.cat to your Objects folder. (The ObjectData.cat you will also find in your Objects folder & the groundobjectsdata.ini will be about 15% of the way up from the bottom of the list in the extractor.) You now need to make an entry for Albion in your groundobjectsdata.ini so open it & add [ObjectXXX] <---- ALTER XXX TO THE NEXT AVAILABLE NUMBER IN YOUR LIST * ObjectName=Albion ObjectFullName=Albion Carrier ObjectDataFile=ALBION_DATA.INI *probably 038 if you haven't added anything before. Save. You will need a mission to fly from the carrier - try the attachment. Extract the.msn from the zip & place in your missions folder (I'm assuming that you are patched to Sp3). carriertest.zip
-
That's weird - you are patched to Sp3? I've just done a clean install on a new PC & dropped that into the Missions folder (haven't even added the carriers yet) & I can select & fly it. P.S. seeing as you are showing as the same IP as myself (an NTL proxy) I guess that you are on NTL too?
-
-
its .msn not msn. e.g. from your first link copy all between & incl. [missionheader] & Waypoint[03].Objective=FALSE Paste into notepad & save into the missions folder as File Name carriertest.msn & Save as type "all files". Start SF, go into single missions>load mission & carriertest should be in the dropdown menu.
